It does look good... but I have seen many video about this kits of people complaining that they don't always fit so well; which makes me hesitant to get get it.
I think the only problem I have with the kit is the fact that you can't really increase stance much due to stock fenders still being there and the wheels end up liking recessed.
@@lucian7182I don't have the set. But just based on pictures and videos I saw you can't have them flush with wheels really because otherwise you'll end up driving on the fenders due to the mot being and extra space. You're basically running double fenders
@@flatmotion1 you would be correct. Nothing wrong with the car in the video but to run a wider wheel and tired setup to be flush and drive able, you'll need to radius the fender to allow the wheel to travel when the suspension articulates. Nothing out of the ordinary for the stanced car dudes.
Oem sti lip is the only one that really works because of the sides of the lip that have that arch I’m sure there is others that don’t have that arch that will work but the kit was made for oem
How well is the 3m sticking, I had spoiler with 3m on and after going to a touchless car wash it came right off? Dont want to hand wash all the time can you just rivet them in?
@@NellysaintsSROP yes I did have some rubbing… had to roll my fenders and it still does rub a bit because of how meaty the tires are… I would highly advice getting rear adjustable control arms… that’s what I’ll be doing probably get some from subispeed
I am lowered on fortune autos my wheels specs are 18x9 +30 I’m running federal rs-r 255/35/18… I did have a bit of rubbing in the back though… so I had to roll the back and I still rubbed a bit so I ended up raising my car… I feel like I’m the long run I’ll be buying rear control arms to camber the back just slightly to avoid the slight rub

I’m not sure why you would want to unintstall them. The video I saw where the guy had damaged his car had removed these and put them back on a few different times. There’s no reason these should damage a car if applied properly and carefully and removed correctly.
@@lucian7182 correct I agree with you… these guys put them on for me and they are experienced.. but if you follow along with the video you should have no damages to your paint.. be aware that if you do ever decide to take these off the best way to remove them is to heat them up very well and then buy some goo gone… I am aware of the RU-vidr you are talking about that had his DGM wrx damaged after he took them off… again though Lucian is right… don’t know why you would want to take these off
@@Daniel-qf8sd one of the reasons he took them off is because his fenders and flares wouldn't allow the suspension to articulate with a fitted or flush wheel and tired. Ideally you would want to radius the fender to allow a wider wheel to travel up inside the fender when the suspension travels
so dumb.. just stick on. you cant lower your car and have a wider offset. Gatta pick one. Lower, or wider. Looks like stock height and wider is the only way. Still not worth it.
18x9 +30 running on federal rs-r Running on fortune auto 500s Had to roll the rear fender as I did run into some rubbing.. so I resided the car up more for this kit… I would advice some rear control arms to adjust it slightly other wise cut the metal
