My experience is still the iPhone is better than the S24 (or any other android phone) for social media. Even my old iPhone 12 and Xs takes better quality videos in apps like tiktok, snapchat etc. This is the biggest downside of Android phones, because they have amazing cameras but in social media apps the performance is just not very good, especially when the lighting is not perfect, because software optimization is much more important than hardware here. I can almost immediately tell when someone is using an Android phone in these apps.

Wow, I’ve had an iPhone for the past 8 or 9 years & every year I’m always tempted to switch to the newest Samsung Galaxy Ultras…. then I read comments like yours & I’m so glad I stayed 🍎 😅

@@christopheredale I mean I still prefer Android over iPhone by a long shot. But for social media apps specifically, iPhone has always been better. So if you are a person that takes a lot of photos, and especially videos in social media apps, then iPhone is definitely the better option. I sometime bring two phones just to use the iPhone as a social media phone lol.

Just delete social media , that stuff just makes you feel less and depressed. Deleted mine and have been much happier ever since

I had an s9+ and upgraded to ip12pro now planning to get a new phone. The iphone is honestly boring asf, it the same look for years. I really love the samsung ecosystem. Iphone is unnecessarily limiting and does random sh*t like close the hotspot automatically etc. I really want the s24 ult but all apps are optimised and work really well with the iphone. If only samsung collaborated with meta and tiktok to make their apps more optimized for high end samsung devices if not across all devices.

thank you for doing this, coming from 11 promax and samsung galaxy s21 i wanna upgrade one device torn between 15 promax and s24ultra. the only issue i have with s24ultra is its not as optimized as 15 pro max :(

You are 100% right with s24U There are some small bugs here and there that ruin the experience. If you need a phone for video and social media the iPhone is the better option to go

This issue will never be fixed your best option if u want superior android footage is to take the video/picture on your main camera app then upload them to social media

Does anyone know the stability of s24 on TikTok when doing live shows? Is it good or does the screen move a lot when walking and a lot of its quality is lost? On iPhone I have not noticed a stability problem but I have noticed errors in connection to 4g-5g. Thanks

Yes the iPhone exposure (warm) and brightness is good. Samsung (cool) and low brightness. But Samsung can minimize light from good lights and good autofocus and micropone samsung is better in a little shaky video
