Im a mobile developer for both and Im glad that you did a good in depth talk about them(Although I feel apple should have had a few more of those points). Apple is fine to use, but there are tons of restrictions placed by apple on their software. People who aren't technical or just are apple fanboys(Great marketing) don't seem to want to give Samsung and Android a chance. People don't get upset because someone found something they like better than Apple/iPhones. You guys aren't on Apples payroll, calm down....They have great marketing to trap you into their ecosystem(android a little too) but you have options....Don't bash android just because you don't understand their underlying software and hardware at all...

Finally, someone who makes a comparison video like this where both don't tie at the end or it's just about one point to make both sides feel good, haha. Great video! You missed samsung's 7 year software update thing, I believe, which would've given another point to the S24 Ultra, lol. It's such an amazing phone and clearly the best one right now.

I've seen a lot of RU-vidrs get this wrong. The titanium on the S24 Ultra does not make it lighter. iPhone switched from stainless steel to titanium, which is a heavier metal to a lighter metal. But the Galaxy switched from aluminum to titanium, which is a lighter metal to a heavier metal.

Samsung has features you don't know you need but once you get to know them it's hard to pass it up. I was an iPhone user for a very long time and it got spoilt so i needed something to use. I took my bro's s22ultra since he was using his s23ultra. Features like the edge panel into split screen, message scheduling, back gesture and freedom to install any app when it's not in the apple store. I have the 24ultra now, and that ai feature where u can search up anything is too good. My ignorant self was always arguing iPhone is better but wow!!!! Until you use Samsung in depth you will never know. I just hope Damsung improve their video quality in snapchat. Buh for the other features i love it.

One important part you left out, thermals and gpu performance especially when it comes to gaming. Sure, the iPhone loads the game faster, but gpu performance on the ultra is much much better for long gaming sessions.

I’ve always had great Samsung phones, but one day I decided to give Apple a try, and I regret it. I started with the IPhone 13. It was ok, nothing special, then I traded for the 14 Pro Max. Same thing as the 13 but bigger, and very problematic. I was on the phone with Apple customer support list about every other week, plus it seems like the replacements I would receive was not better. After 5 replacements, I was over it and traded up to the 15 pro max. This 15 Pro Max is no better than the 14 Pro Max I traded. I never had not even 1 issue out of my Galaxy series phones, but I’ve had a ton of issues with all my Apple phones.

Just brought the iPhone 15 pro max last year and I’m currently on a payment plan through T-Mobile. But when I saw the Samsung s24 Ultra on tv, it was love at first sight! I’m going to trade my current phone in, thanks for the comparison and wish me luck!

Try front camera of s24 ultra in messenger especially in low light. All saturated or even sending pictures via messenger or video calling.

No bias view. The screen on the S24U kicks the iPhones ass. Most other areas are a wash. Customisation and the added bonus of the S-pen and AI also side with the Sammy. Apple have a vice-like grip on US mobile sales though so they don't even need to really try.

at minute 2:02 there seems to be a reflection of light on the screen on one of the cellphones, and apparently this is discussed at minute 4:45. to be reminded at minute 9:35 Knox is not mentioned.

In terms of security I want to mention, that the "Secure Folder" feature is still standing out on Samsung, as there is since no adequate pendant on the iPhone yet.

dont forget that the s24 ultra can charge other devices w wireless power sharing 😊 i know the s23 ultra had that too but its way too handy to pass up! also, the selfie camera on the s24 ultra can put live filters on your camera & it can even do things like slim your jawline in real time lol. i was SO excited when i saw that! love my samsung 😍

But your are comparing last years iPhone 15 (2023) with this years (2024) S 24 ultra which is not a fair comparison when the new iPhone is gonna have way better AI, features and faster and better pro chip. I'm testing iOS 18 now and it has some really great features.

Love my S24U. Best decision I've made so far. Samsung definitely stepped it up this time around. The S24U definitely upgraded things that are used on a daily basis. The display and the anti reflection makes a huge difference. Gorilla glass armour is a game changer.

I enjoyed the comparison. However, as an iPhone, iPad and Mac user, there simply is no comparison when it comes to integration. There are some work arounds for this when using a S24 to PC, but they are clunky at best, and nearly zero when using a Mac or iPad. It is this reason that it keeps me in the Apple ecosystem. I think the S24 Ultra is the best phone, but for me, I can't trade the lack of compatibility to switch.

For me phones are such a big part of our social and family lives from how we communicate to pictures, and that’s why I always stick with the iPhone. If I wanna take pics to eventually print and put in a photo album, or make a family home video, FaceTime quality, etc you’re just not gonna get better than the iPhone. Yeah being a tech and specs geek when it comes to the androids is cool, but my goodness does the actually quality of lively things that can bring life long memories such as those things brought down. I know it sounds ridiculous but that’s how impactful these phones are now.

Hey, I use the S Pen a lot to translate languages in games. It's a must-have feature for me. No phone is worth it without the S Pen. 😊

Switched from iphone 13 to 24 ultra , the only thing i miss from iphone is the better face unlock at night. Overall 24 ultra is better than any iphone atm and i was android phone hater.Also i dont use anything except phone on both ecosystems so i m like /care which is better

Right now the s24 Ultra is clearly better than the iPhone 15 PM, but it's a never-ending battle, because the iPhone 16PM will certainly be better than the s24 Ultra but the s25 will probably be better than the 16 PM. Also keep in mind that the time difference in releases is 7 months between the Samsung Galaxy and the latest iPhone, and only 5 months between the latest iPhone and the next Galaxy. So in this regard, Samsung must work harder, which also deserves to be applauded.

no hate or anything, the features are great, but realistically its like this: >advertise the features as if they were exclusive for the model >advertise 7 year support for the device >put a fine print at the bottom, that the AI features you advertised are actually googles, and soon for most of supported devices >and they will be paid features in two years, so in less than 1/3 of the new support time kinda sketchy to me

$726 out the door for the S24 Ultra with 512GB storage pre-order with a Note 20 Ultra trade-in. Samsung wins on value for me. I didn't get much when I traded an iPhone to upgrade to another iPhone. Before the 7 years of software support for Samsung, I would have said that spread over the six to seven years of use of an iPhone, the iPhone would have better value.

8:30 I want to point out that the iPhone actually charges pretty quickly up to 80% and then the last 20% takes ages. So you can still top up the phone pretty quickly, just don't expect to get 100% quickly. Also I know it's speed is still SLOW compared to Xiaomi and other brands but the Samsung, with its "45 watt" charging, is barely any faster than the iPhone from 0-50% or 0-80%.

Yes this will be shocking when s24 ultra drains a lot of battery and performance issues when s25 is released. Happening with me with s23 ultra. Disappointing stuff !

I’m an Apple user but I’m not partial towards Apple. In fact, I really appreciate what Samsung’s been able to accomplish, especially in the last few years. The reason I’m saying this is because I want you to know that I’m just being purely critical here without any bias. 1. It doesn’t make sense to give the S24 a point for its AI features because it’s not a feature specific to the S24. Most of these features would be available for other flagship models of Samsung as well according to Samsung. So it’s merely an extension of Samsung’s SAAS business model which customers would have to pay for and it doesn’t necessarily require an S24 for that. Even an S23 would do. 2. iPhone’s Face ID is way faster and is much more functional because unlike the S24, iPhones do not only use their front facing cameras but also an infrared camera, all working together and making it faster and more secure. Now it is possible that the S24 has algorithms to achieve the same level of security, I don’t know. But having an infrared camera still helps iPhone unlock much quicker even in very dark environments. To achieve the same the S24 has to brighten up its display to its maximum. So I’m not convinced about both of them getting a point each. Correct me if I’m missing something. Apart from these, the overall lifespan of an iPhone is much longer than a Samsung phone. I’ve seen this from my personal experience as well. Hence, while I’m glad she took trade-in values into account, it’d have been nicer to also include lifespans of each. But a great video overall. I’ve been following this channel for a while :)
