I love that you are doing some commentary now as you are riding, it makes the video WAY more interesting. Same goes for the talking to camera too. I'll watch this in full later. Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures from the comfort of my sofa!
A long awaited return. I’m glad you’re doing more commentary on the bike listening to just music just makes me fast forward a lot. Wishing good luck and safe travels.
Really nice to hear from you again! Looking forward to your reports. Just a thoughtful note, the UK (the remnants of the Empire that is left and on your home island) is actually part of Europe :-)!
Had a big smile on my face when I seen you had posted this, been looking forward to your next adventure, be interesting to see where you went at the DD beaches as I’ve not long come back from there
Hello Ian, I live on my own and about the same age as you. Sometimes you just have to give yourself a great big kick up the arse to get motivated. If you don’t make things happen they never do. Once the bikes loaded and you fire up the Garmin you know you’ve done the right thing. You’ve become quite the film maker, liking the commentary and music. Love the fact you don’t have a specific plan and looking forward to your adventures. Stay safe 🙂✌🏻🇬🇧
🎉 party time again, hello Ian I'm back on board, this brightens up my winter months following you on your adventure, really enjoyed the African trip and I'm going to be here for the ride again, I'll be in Tenerife in November again this year 🤔 wonder where you'll be,thanks for sharing, take care ride safe 🤗
Ian the excitement of opening RU-vid and seeing your new episode. The wife wouldn’t let me watch it till she was finished whatever she does …..woman’s work!…🤪😂😂. Absolutely great to see you back and be safe wherever your adventures take you. Mike and Lin
Your back! As your other subscriber😅 great to see you Ian. That Saudi trip really sounded exciting. Looking for to following your adventure this time around. Stay safe
Firstly glad that your on the road again for an undetermined amount of time 😃 I know what you mean about not feeling it etc. I am getting on a bit myself and that's why I try to do as many trips as I can before either the body or the mind gives up. You just never know when the jig is up especially if you're already 60+, so if you can do it. Looking forward to your adventures ... rsm8
Hi from Ireland.. We enjoyed keeping up with your Africa trip so wer looking forward to following you again.. A few friends and I are heading over to Cumbria on our bikes in a few weeks. Looking forward to that too.. Cheers... Ivan.
Great to see you back, I was wondering what you were upto now, I am still watching your Africa adventure which is totally epic! You are an inspiration and have inspired me to give travelling a go! I am doing a mini trial over to France in two weeks time, this is my first ever trip away on the bike.
congratulations Ian, finally a truly delicious new season of possible destinations, even without an official plan, and this is precisely the beauty, the possibility of being able to live day by day enjoying the emotions, sensations, given by colours, perfumes, smells, everything that the roads you will travel around the world in store for you on your Suzuki. Warm greetings from Tuscany Italy
Great to have you back, always informative and down to earth….. looking forward to seeing what food you get on your travels, especially when you’re abroad.
Good to see you back Ian. We enjoyed your last adventure and look forward to seeing where you get to this time. By the way, we like the fact that you don't talk over the riding video much, and that was one of the things that we enjoyed last time. Take care
Hi Ian glad to see your back, what about doing another video on your gear like you did the last time now that you’ve got different panniers. You certainly are an inspiration to shall we say the older brigade. Thks
Hello from Lillehammer, Norway. Good to see you again! I started following you partially on your last series. Now I have subscribed, and look forward to join your new adventure!
Great to hear from you again, as I missed those Morrocan exploits! Your first little stopover in N.Ireland (Loughshore), is only 4 miles from me, so we could have shared a coffee and a chat before you headed south. Greatly looking forward to your European adventures. Take care for now.
Haha! good to see you again Ian. I was recently working at Geilston House (that you passed on your way out of Helensburgh) I could have given you a wave! Heading for Spain and Mallorca myself for October via Belfast and Rosslare (I live in Killearn and can't face the 1,000 mile dual carriageway to Plymouth or Portsmouth and back anymore). It will be interesting to see how you get on. It's been the soggiest Scottish summer of my 45 years living up here: I'm ready to go! Bon Voyage Ian!
You're back! Saudi/Iraq is very interesting but sadly off-limits these days. I am always thinking about riding Eastern Turkey into Central Asia, logistically difficult though, would need to learn some basic Russian. Safe travels for season2.
Some memories there Ian. Waterford is a place where I had a lovely young lady chat Me up, pub was the Hog's Head along the water front many moons ago. My mate stayed in a hostel behind Reginald's Tower.
hi mate, looking forward to following your new adventure. alternative routes to Saudi? bit of technical feedback - your mic input is a bit hot in this episode. I would turn the input gain down a few notches.
If you are coming to Germany not only the black forest might be interesting, but also the Higher danubian river. And if you are there, Campus Galli might be worth a visit. It is a real time construction Project of a carolingian monastery. Ah, and my home town, Tübingen, is worth a visit, too.
The best plan for an Adventure is no plan I'm glad to see you have kept the bike and would be interested to know if you replaced the damaged wheel from your last trip Also, I would be interested In the gps you use Which model Your thoughts Good luck, and I hope you have enough Yorkshire tea
From Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 🌴 i say welcome to my Country 😊...But 💡❗️❗️ At this point...the region in a very tense situation...Iraq, Iran, Jordan Lebanon... After October, winter is pleasant in all parts of Saudi Arabia. There are many historical places that the media in the West does not report to you as it should. The problem is not your coming to Saudi Arabia now. The problem is how to reach Saudi Arabia in light of the war going on around the region. I do not advise you to enter Iraq at all since it has become part of the ongoing conflict. The general situation in Jordan is also escalating... The only solution for you is to reach Saudi Arabia if you want through A ship from Türkiye, but it will take long days. You can check the duration of the trip I enjoyed your trip very much. I hope you are safe and secure 👍🏻💐
