I like seeing the three crosses on the bike owner, i had an uncle who was a pastor of a motor cycle church. They traveled from Florida to Tennessee, their home base was Tennessee, they had a trailer they had behind their motorcycle that they camped in, he died a few years ago, his son is one of my favorite cousins.

I love watching the videos about this general store. Miss Tiffany is such a positive and inspirational person. I agree with Katie, I love the Fall because it means Pumpkin Spice season. I hope to make a trip from Arizona someday to have a bologna sandwich, Tiffany style. 🙏🏻

We had a store kinda like this. They had a little of everything. I miss those days in the early 60s. The creaky wood floor stands out most. Well and 10 cent ice cream sandwiches. I had such a groovy childhood.

Went there for the first time this last weekend (Oct 21). The main appeal about this place is the old-timey general store appearance. Lots of old memorabilia on the floor and attached to the wall. Tiffany and her crew are very nice and spiritual. However, this is not a place to buy general store-type merchandise. It’s really just a fast food restaurant with a old country appearance.

Miss Tiffany and Katie RM crew I will be in the area for a few days from Oct.. 25 until the 28 when I will head on to Somerset, KY for car show on the 28th. Hopefully can make some wonderful new friends, John does a great job with his video's that he does keep up the great work I figure as a small business owner myself it was time to get away for a few days and so Mrs. Linda will take care of housing me for a few days Johns video's has me excited to come and check out this neat store and other things to do in the area and plus just chill and make new friends .

We planned our trip from Utah, by way of Mount Vernon Illinois, to the R M Brooks General Store only to find it closed @ 3:45 p.m. on October 18, 2023. Sort of reminds me of Ralphie’s disappointment when he used the Little Orphan Annie decoder only to find out that the secret message was a lousy commercial.

Always watch and enjoy your videos John partly because I spent so much time in the area acquiring a TVA transmission line easement connecting Helenwood to Jamestown, which runs through the area. Still by far the toughest walk that I've ever undertook. The easement crosses Highway 52 just before the church on Highway 52 just shy of the new road cutoff east of Rugby, and runs south of the store into Fentress County. I visited the store several times for food and drinks after jokingly being greeted by Tiffany the first time with "So you're the bad guy". Lol. . .

This is awesome I live in NJ and literally dream of having a general store and make pizza and other things for the community. Not gonna do that in NJ though

I feel the same about fall and winter , luv fall don't do cold well

They make heat tape you can run along your water lines that is just a regular plugg in and just enough heat to keep them from freezing and you can also put the foam insulation on them and put the heat tape inside it and tape it every couple feet. Cheap insurance and doesn't use much electricity at all.

The towns name is Rugby (pronounced Rukbee) - now that is funny. Rugby is the finest ball game ever invented in England - a national obsession in some countries like ours - something that real men play without any helmets or kneepads of plastic body protectors like their American cousins :). Btw the World Rugby championships in now being held in France and we just defeated them by 1 point to advance to the semi-finals where we will be facing England next weekend.
