S3 EP10. I Want To Be On Fire 

Last night was the first time I felt on fire for God. I kept saying man I just love Jesus so much I’m so in awe of him my heart cannot contain how much love I have for him! Then I went outside listening to worship music and dancing and singing because I didn’t want to wake my 2 toddlers up😅😁🤍

This came at the perfect time. Last night I realized I’m lukewarm. It hit me. I’ve been neglecting my Bible time because I started a new job. I’ve been filling my mind with crappy content. I’ve been lukewarm and I need Jesus. Please send prayers!

LITERALLY ME "Devil be quiet, JESUS come on"- You have to tune into the Lord in order to feel that growth and relationship!!! 💕💕💕 Go with a pure heart

This episode was LEGIT a GOD SEND in PERFECT TIMING. Thank you JESUS and thank YOU Ally. I was feeling weighed down with confusion, pride, ungratefulness and was trying to deal with my sin on my own as if I can cleanse myself and do the work to make myself better on my own and this let me know what I needed to do and within half an hour, my fire naturally started coming back. That gunk was piling on top of my fire and once I repented, confessed and asked him to help me, HE DID and I mean quickly😭. He really WAITS for us like that. The creator of literally EVERYTHING waits for US. I already feel new and fresh again after 2 weeks of this warfare. Thank you so much. I sincerely mean it ❤🎉.

Repenting in the every day slip ups has 100% strengthened my relationship with God & Jesus. And it helps me acknowledge it and lock it in that I want to change those particular things.

Today’s episode take me back to a day at work, my supervisor came over to my desk and was talking about Jesus and she could see the genuine happiness that came over me and she said to me “ Tahirah(my name) you get on fire for the Lord” the best compliment ever because I love my God so much and I happiest in His presence. And at my work we are banned from talking about religion and if there is one thing I do everyday is to mention Jesus name to someone.

I struggle to give all these sinful things to God because I feel like He's given me so much, His Son died on a cross for me, He gave me a family, I have a roof over my head and food every night and I am grateful for all of it and I know it's from Him. But with all this good He's given me I struggle to give Him my sin, but that's repentance isn't it that despite how ugly the sin is, I can't run from it and God already knows it. All I can do is give it up because on my shoulders it's boulders weighing me down but in His hand it's as tiny as a grain of sand. He can handle it, I can't.

Girrrllll! You said you had a little bit of faith in the beginning but mostly hope… and the Bible said alll you need is faith the size of a MUSTARD seed!!! You had a mustard seed and thats what started it alllll. the Bible is facts!

The fact that I was doing the prayer of repentance and my phone just started buffering, shut up devil. I AM GOING TO BE ON FIRE FOR MY JESUS!!!

As someone who has worked with the Lord for some time, I can say the fire comes but to sustain that fire, is to do what we see Ally do - being truly desperate, prayer, being anchored and consistently in the Word (an area I’m battling it with) but also - PRAISE! One thing we can observe about people like Ally, Ashley Hetherington, Carew, Emmy amd others is PRAISE. They praise and worship (2 separate things y’all) and thanksgiving both ignites and sustains fire! 🙌 praying for you all!!!

I'm at my workplace typing this. I felt comfort and beginning to tear and I'm only halfway through the video. I'm struggling with a lot and I thought I repented already but this video opened my eyes to surrender everything to God. I had shame and guilt and even if I think I have repented I still have a fear of saying it all to God so I keep it but it opened my eyes of I'm delaying myself to full salvation and righteousness and road to being on fire again with God. I realized earlier this week that I’ve been keeping myself from making connections and community within my church because of feeling shameful and not worthy enough and not wanting people to get close to me and see what is really going on in my life and what I hide. This helped me understand it doesn’t need to be this way and there is power in confessing those sins and leaning on others and Jesus for support and guidance❤️

19:56- 20:49 - my favorite part of this episode! Don’t be scared to share all your struggles with God in prayer! Jeremiah ch. 32, verse 17 - “Nothing is too hard for God.”

wow ally…this is exactly what i needed. you completely silenced the enemy who was running wild in my mind and feeding me all these lies and filling my mind with sin. that prayer made me feel like i’ve finally been forgiven and set free. God is using you to reflect himself to the world. ❤️

I agree with you! To be on fire with GOD, you need to deny your flesh, and follow him every single day, at the beginning it could be hard because you are starting a new relationship, getting to know him, talking to him. I do feel that it is normal to not feel that fire from the Lord at the beginning, but if you continue reading the Bible, getting to know him, who HE is, how is his character, what he has done, how much love he has for every single one of us. Then, eventually the fire will come just as you said!!

when I prayed and repented with you, I felt the Holy Spirit so strong like His presence is sooo overwhelming and I just felt my heart being purified like there's this light replenishing all the darkness and sin I was holding onto oh my gosh Praise God for your life Ally!

Thank you Jesus and Ally for this message. There has been a sin that I’ve been holding on to for some years. I’ve been so full of guilt and shame. The Lord used you to speak to me. I got on my knees and prayed this prayer of repentance and the burden was lifted. There was freedom in that moment. The enemy had been trying to remind me of it and using it to shame me in these last few days. The timing of this episode was fire🔥of God.

I needed this episode. I was actually going to listen to another episode but then God put this on my screen and it came just in time, Gods timing is perfect!!

I love everything you mentioned in this episode because I know its from the Holy Spirit ❤ but one sad thing I cannot relate to yet is having a very close friend/best friend who is also walking closely with the Lord who I can comfortably confess my sins to and to pray for me. I have christian friends here and there (mainly out of state) but no one who Im actually close to as a best friend yet. I literally prayed about this today and alot before. So all i can do is to rely only on the Lord but recently I still made a unbelievable choice to a certain sin when I knew better. I made the mistake of entertaining the temptation that turns into actions. Mainly because I dont have a lifelong, God honoring friend to do life with (yet) who can talk me out of my compromising thoughts/flesh. If anyone reading this, please just pray for me to have at least one friend who also loves Jesus please

I love that you’re speaking heavily on repentance Ally! This is so important and something that I feel isn’t spoken on enough anymore! John the Baptist preached it, the disciples preached it, Jesus Himself preached it! Praise the Lord He has placed that especially, on your heart.

When we were going to pray together to Jesus and repent I was saying to God, God if you’re here than turn my chair (I was sitting in a chair with wheels you know) and then He literally did that, I felt Gods presents so strong, Jesus was and is with me, He is so cool. Like I honestly thought: Gods not gonna do that its weirs He is here, you only have to believe it but then he really did it I love Him so much❤❤❤

This was so powerful and encouraging! I was washing dishes while listening to this and it opened my eyes to some things I needed to repent. I started tearing up while washing the dishes! Bitterness and resentment are some of the big ones, I feel like God was reminding me of. I have held onto a lot of resentment for my biological father. I've always struggled with this. It's a long story, but Father's Day always brings me these painful feelings and thoughts. I know I needed to surrender, but I was desperately begging God to take the bitterness, while still clinging to it, and not fully surrendering. Thank you for this amazing podcast and for helping me realize that I don't need to wait for anything to be on fire for God. You truly are a blessing! Thank the Lord, our God, for His patience, mercy, forgiveness, and love. We truly are so blessed to be loved by The Father!

I’m nine days late but I believe I watched this for a reason, I felt like something was off with me and Dad. This has taught me that he is not angry with me and I should repent and go to him for everything.

Thank you Ally🫶 I have felt dimmer from God than I usually do and I’ve been stuck from figuring out why. It’s been as if my soul is sad and I have no reason to be. But there’s one word you said that reminded about God that hit me. He forgets. He does not tally my sins up after I’ve been forgiven. And deep down I’ve been feeling bad for consistently repenting then doing it again the next day. His mercies are new every morning. I have more hope for myself being reminded of that.

From a guy who watches, I feel I'm on fire and all...I'll dance around at work with my ear buds in anf get the weird looks on like why I'm so energetic at times. I jist wish I could find SOMEONE that matches my energy on this world to help me....but it feels like there's no Christian that matches me or my weirdness. I jusy don't feel comfortable even around "Christians " because I don't m a ke it to church, or even get out much unless it's work because my son is autistic and never wants to leave the house. And when at a church I feel like I don't belong because I stopped celebrating worldly "Christian" holidays because they aren't really Christian and seems everyone around me thinks I'm not right

I felt pulled to watch this one this morning, I was feeling lazy.. didn’t want to… but I’m glad I did.. changed the whole direction of my day. I’m ready to be on fire for Jesus again.

When I repented from alcoholism, THAT was the first time I turned to truly being on FIRE for God. like every convo with me, is now God’s convo and I have never felt more alive than being in the presence and friendship with our Father.

this episode just helped break the last chain of my addiction. i am free in Jesus name. thank you.

Your zeal and emotion for repentance is beautiful to see! So few realize the great relief there is in owning up to ones own mistakes and letting Christ take them from you, and heal you from them. I remember my first Confession. I was in a state of shock afterwards, that I had just confessed my sins, all my dirtiness, and my priest had absolved me without question, without even a blink (granted I was looking at his shoe the entire time, so I can’t really account for any blinking on his part). All at once it was forgiven. Forgotten. Wiped clean in the span of at most 5 minutes. And I walked out of the confessional and cried my weights worth of tears. Because the horrible weight was gone from my soul and I was overwhelmed by God’s sheer goodness. People need to know and feel HIS MERCY, which comes down to us as we repent and make resolutions to turn away from our faulty ways. There was a lot of me at the time that couldn’t believe it, that I now served such a loving, forgiving Father. That the King of Kings stoops down to us when we call for Him, takes us into His Heart, and washes us clean with His blood. What a gift! The world, with all its heavy burdens, needs repentance and forgiveness more then ever. And in case there is fear in anybody: No sin is unforgivable, no error can stop the Lords mercy from reaching a soul that in earnest turns to Him. There is nothing to fear when approaching Our Lord, for He is a gentle Shepard tending His flock. He is the Father who runs out to the returning Prodigal Son. No matter what you have done, He is waiting to embrace you. God Bless all of you!

I have just walked through two miscarriages while 6 of my friends are pregnant. I was deeply depressed and full of bitterness, anger and resentment and I could not feel God at all, nor could I feel any comfort from Him. I was thinking "what is wrong, I am seeking God and I am not finding Him, reading His Word, praying and worshipping and all I feel is deep pain and depression, it was all just too heavy. All while holding tightly to the (understandable) bitterness and resentment toward all my friends whose babies get to live and being angry God would allow this to happen." I also had a pretty traumatic first miscarriage where I lost a significant amount of blood and it took everything out of me and I just kept asking, "why me? Haven't I suffered enough in my life?" while seeing friends share about their pregnancies or how giving birth is the most powerful thing they have ever done as a woman. It makes me feel less than and that I am just a victim to life. So I am praying for repentance of my anger, bitterness and resentment to leave and the spirit of depression to be cast out in Jesus' name!!!

i loved your video with Ashley Hetherington about modesty. Your pod and Carew's pod have CHANGED MY LIFE. it shows me that Jesus isnt just for old people hhahah but that he is truly wrecking the younger generations with his love. Being on fire for God is the part that i lacked growing up in church, I thought it was just boring and a religion but its hard to deny how AWESOME God is when you see people on FIREE. I would loveeeee to see a video with you and carew or ashley or really whoever just talk about how to heal from relationships that have hurt you (specifically romantic). For me it was someone who was even in my church community and it hurt so much i hated even going to church. Can yall do something like that!
