I like how you prepare mentally for the voyage ahead. Some easy going adventures, no stress or drama. Salt ponds look like a great stop. Very relaxing and not crazy as hampton roads is

You got lucky, shortly after you left the fuel dock went down. It has something to do with the wiring from the tanks to the pumps and power supply not getting to the pumps and will require some digging and rewiring of the entire system to make them work again. The company coming out to do it is backed up and it’s not going to happen until fall. Nice talking to you.

If you ever come and visit us in the Baltic Sea, you have to visit Stockholm and the Vasa Museum where they display the Vasa ship that sank on its maiden voyage in 1628 and was brought up to the surface in the 1960s almost intact due to the very special water environment in the Baltic Sea with the exact right mix of fresh and salt water.

I'm sure you are aware of this but for other less seasoned salts - it's worth the effort to remove all paper cardboard etc. packaging from provisions due to the presence of parasite eggs - roaches mainly. Crucial in the tropics so a good habit to adopt worldwide. _Steady as she goes!_
