You were great, @ArabManReacts! Thanks, Boudy, for sharing your experiences in the music industry and those valuable suggestions for promoting Angelina Jordan and her music. Hopefully her uncle Michael will find out about them. I've been enjoying your emotional and insightful reactions to Angelina's videos and was glad to see you sharing your experiences with Alan and Pontus. I loved the short introductory documentary you and your associate made on Angelina Jordan. Looking forward to seeing the next installment!

This was such a valuable and rich discussion about Angelina Jordan and her musical talent from a music insider's perspective who also happens to be an Angel, a devoted fan of AJ and her music!!! Worth re-listening to again to get all the fine points and promotional suggestions. I also like the give and take amongst the three of you. More like a shared discussion than a one-way interview.

Boudy is very precise and he is a great listen. A 2 hour interview with him would be a feature video, for sure. He said he doesn't know as much as he should about her except what he basically reads about her in our comments. We need to do a better job then, don't we? And, btw, what an intriguing life he must be living. I'd like to know more about him, too ! He once invited me to Beirut to have a cup of coffee with him. I may go to Italy soon (?) and, who knows, I might add a leg onto the trip. But, of course right now we must pray that the unrest in his area of the world ceases and that ALL people realize we must all live with each other. It's the only chance humanity has to make the world a better place to live for EVERYONE. And, what I'm about to say I mean with all my heart. I know the three of the them spoke a lot about marketing, etc., and they raised some important issues, but, the power that's contained in Angelina in the form of pure love, that can literally change the world by touching the heart of EVERYONE who listens to her sing, is the reason why EVERYONE in the world must discover her and listen to her. Boudy gave us his idea of what should be done to promote Angelina. I didn't understand most of it but he is definitely on the right track. I got a chill when he said if she does something on "reach" (or, whatever)she can reach 100 million people in a flash! WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Let's go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are we still 'setting her up'? She's set up now! When she sings people will be 'entertained', sure. But, we all know there's so much more going on when someone listens to Angelina sing 'for them'. "Happy Thanksgiving" everyone. Alan and Pontus, keep it going guys! And, Boudy, I drink my coffee black.

Boudy has that spirit and shares it that AJ creates within us. I’ve posted my description before, Pontus described it again. 🤜 If our hearts had a “blood brain barrier” AJ enters as a special guest when she sings, to unlock those trapped feelings inside our heart, that it makes it easier for others to enter with the 🗝️that she leaves behind. ❤

It is going to be a busy holiday season for Angelina. First she goes to a very important ball in Paris, France on Nov. 25th. then she has a Christmas EP coming out "soon", and her debut album either before her 18th birthday, or on her 18th birthday on Jan.10th. 2024. So far no word on any tour dates, perhaps she will wait til spring 2024 when it will be warmer. unless it could be another indoor venue like Portsmouth.

I think it’s time after 30 years for Mariah, that a new young singer takes the stage for Christmas songs. I think we have a shot, less background and more of AJ’s emotional voice. 🤞

This was a fascinating discussion. AJ has touched my soul like few other artists. She has healed my heart personally. Beyond that though, her fan base around the world and her personal story have broadened my perspective to the family of humankind. Before AJ the concept of universal love was just a vaque desire. But now watching so many different reactors and seeing wonderful podcastssuch as this one, universal love has been instantiated in so many concrete ways. I have interacted with people from all over that I feel have become friends. I have become a better and more hopeful person. I had a chance to see her perform live and personally meet other fans who are truly wonderful people themselves. This is a truly remarkable impact for an artist so young and still growing as an artist. I hope this continues for others as they discover AJ and her art and worldview. This is a positve antidote to the rampant strife is so much of the world today. As long as she is happy and comfortable, the number of people who discover her doesn't seem as important as the quality and richness of the experience when they do. AJ and her family seem to have the wisdom to flourish as her fairy-tale like adventure continues. We have all had the good fortune of having our lives enriched by their art and good example. ❤

Thanks for having Boudy on, he's amazing, and has become one of my favorite YT'ers, mostly because he's so genuine, honest and raw, and ofc funny and knowledgeble. Working and been teaching sound healing and voice liberation, ANGELina and AURoRA are my absolute favorites, then we have Floor Jansen and Dimash, and ofc tons of other talented artist. But some has this "God given talent" they tap into, and just are true to their own path and frequenzy. I'm pondering about starting my own channel, I've held back watching loads of ANGELina vids, just because I wanna have something to react to. I guess I still have 100 songs to go through. This actually got me more interested.....We'll see.... 2024 is the year for AmZn changes 😘

This was a most wonderful hour! Boudy's insights into Angelina's music make my Mondays very special. The sharing between the three of you echoes many things I have thought about the impact of Angelina's music on the hearts of listeners, even those who aren't looking for a heart-opening experience. If I could ask Angelina a question, it would be whether or not she has had more experiences like the mystical journey she had when meeting the young street girl to whom she gave her shoes. She described it beautifully in her book, and also in a tv interview when she was about nine. Love and great thanks to you all for hours and hours of sharing your love of this girl's unique music.

Thank you guys, this was stunning and eye-opening. The most impactful segment for me was the last question. How should Angelina's management promote her in the next year or two? I think we all learned something that we have been questioning and anxious about for quite a long time. We may not be able to control what management does but somehow these suggestions should get to them in an ideal world. I am sure they know what they're doing but we are all clamoring to see it happen.

Great episode. You can't go wrong having Boudy on your show. His Angelina reactions are better than any of the Vocal Coach reactions which I normally gravitate towards. They are more inciteful and carry much more genuine emotion and enthusiasm. After watching your show, I now understand why after hearing his explanation. He only hears five songs a week. He doesn't hear any other music during the week. And his tribute is: Monday's are Angelina day. The other four days are anybody else's. Great show

Great podcast. I was at the concert in Portland and at the front and centre of the balcony. The sound was excellent. But I did not like the band - far too loud and the sax in particular just seemed to like himself too much. Much preferred it when I was at the summer concert in Norway with the band she had there. Also the sound at the 02 with a full orchestra was stunning. This was my shocking introduction to AJ - too stunned to record it!

Boudy can be considered a great ambassador when it comes to promoting Angelina on YT (even if it is clear that Spotify and Tiktok are much more important, sadly). His Angelina Reactions (including the AJ retrospective) hit the 1 million mark on Sunday (although three reactions are not included in his AJ playlist, which Ramsey hopefully will fix: It's now or never. All of me. Good in Goodbyes ). The retrospective itself is really a great success with 84k views up to today. Since he made a few suggestions here about how the breakthrough could still work, I have a little more hope again - compared to the video "Why Angelina Jordan is NOT Billboard Material and IT'S OK" by Miss Saiko, who was able to identify the problems but didn't really have a solution.

Mr. Papier, Mr. Osterlin, Mr Boustany: Three men, from the community, that have so enriched my life for the last five months. With the under lining catalyst, being our sweet child from Norway. Boudy you said it best, "She is a force", a vortex, a synthesizer, a bringer together-er of profound intellects, sensitive hearts, old and young souls. Well that force is just a prelude, a mere introduction to succeeding movements of her works to come, that will be longer and more complex. We will all be a part of that history, the documenters, the explainers of her musical magic, the poets to grasp at the ineffable. I could not be more filled with joy, I'll just have to grow a larger vessel to contain it. Rb

Gentlemen, I have been religiously following Angelina and her remarkable story since late 2017. However, when I began using youtube and started watching Angelina music reactions I was perplexed and confused as to why I couldn’t post comments. This went on for months and then the day came when I decided to delete youtube and then reload it. Low and behold, it was the right decision since I was able to comment. It was the beginning of 2018 that I was finally able to unleash all that I had stored up to say about my Angelina experiences. As the years have passed watching countless reactors responses to Angelina I have whittled my list of my favorite Angelina reactors down to those I most enjoy and those who I find to be the most intellectually honest and stimulating. The three of you are on my favorite’s list. I watch each of you quite often and I always press the like button, but I don’t always comment. Boudy, discovering you via your Angelina reactions is one of my most favorite youtube experiences. That is mostly because I felt a deep and abiding kinship with how you reacted to seeing and hearing Angelina for the first time. Your shock and awe reaction precisely mirrored my initial reaction. I also remember saying to myself, “This guy gets the whole Angelina mystique in addition to recognizing the profound and visceral affect that her musical gifts and immense talents have on us”. I can’t say enough how much I loved watching your outstanding retrospect. It was obviously a labor of love because it was readily apparent as soon as your narration began. I would like to add that I have been wondering what happened to Debbie Presley. She hasn’t reacted much since she was a guest on this channel.

EXCELLENT.👏👏👏👏. Quite different from the previous podcasts you guys did. And I love it. The variety of colours you give to the " Quest for Angelina" ( if I may say so)is very intelligent. There is a movie I saw back in the day titled : Quest for Fire. It's about the origins of mankind. They didn't know fire yet but one day they saw it ( natural causes of course) and a bold, intelligent boy( probably the first one of our species) "sees" its potential. Sees how through it humanity will grow and sets off on his Quest for it. Angelina is the Fire of the 3rd millenium and is our Quest...... Now bare with me. This has nothing to do with the theme of the podcast. Every now and then the few intelligent neurons I've got left come up with strange ideas. Here's their last crazy one 🤔. A podcast about her a capella performances in the parking lot. I think they're marvelous. Instruments are just an extra for her. She could easily do without. She does them all with her voice. She is The Music. Hope I didn't bore you to much. Love❤

Hello 👋Alan and Pontus hey Arab Man boudy my fellow Angelina Angel 😇 Great podcast Alan and Pontus with Boudy one of my favorite reactors!! He is also strongly connected to Angelina's soul 🌟✨️!! He reacts very emotionally ❤️‍🔥 is partly deeply moved! Sometimes like me too! often speechless 😶 He comments no better. He analyzes Angelina's phenomenal skills very precisely and loyally, and explains to the layperson what is important when it comes to sound! runs! riffs! And the fantastic melismas and her unique vibrato (which Whitney Houston also had) that Angelina uses in her song - these differences that other singers don't have all together!! And then Angelina's greatest treasure, her old soul voice🌟✨️Brilliant podcast, it's getting better and better and there's a lot more to talk about and explain in the future, very instructive for me too!! Always learn new things!! Bye Alan and Pontus and Boudy my friend and AJ Angel 😇 See you on Monday for the next Angelina reaction 👍👌👏🇨🇭👋🙋‍♂️

I think Angie's fans want the world to discover her to reinforce what they themselves are hearing. Every day I am in awe of her talent. I think with this type of music it will be a slow and steady and patient approach that is needed. It took over 10 years for Queen Aretha to really get a following. Angie might speed it up if she incorporates a more contemporary pop sound on her next record as she is young and can do literally any type of music. If she does she will never really lose the jazz I'm sure.

I Do remember on Born to Sing Documentary, Angelina Jordan said "singing is like breathing to her." The younger AJ also said she "loves it, making other people happy, makes her happy too." But such a solid Q to ask older AJ. Does she still go to this bubble in her own mind where it's just her the stage, and light no one else around...and does she Still go there later in life before she starts performing? Great Q?

Great insights, thank you Boudy, Alan and Pontus! Angelina touches us and changes our perception of so many things. Everyone needs to listen to her, because I think everyone can be touched like we are. But maybe that’s not true and it’s only certain people that can make this connection to her. I wonder if those who introduce Angelina to many people have statistics on this. My own statistics are very low and it’s not clear to me.

Great podcast, guys! It was great to know more about Boudy and his feelings towards Angelina's music. Also he provided such an interesting insight into how the music business works. It would be awesome to have him in the podcast again soon ☺ Thanks Boudy for promoting Angelina as you do and also for your amazing retrospective! I was truly moved by it! (And I don't miss one of your Angelina Mondays 😉)

Gentlemen, I think we can all agree that amongst the Angelina community we are completely devoid of outside noises, interferences and agendas. We are completely at one with our love, respect and adoration for all things, Angelina. There exists the absence of injecting geographic, racial, ethnic and political feelings into our mutual discourse. I think there is an unspoken want and desire to leave all of that outside of our world, according to Angelina. I do appreciate that so much.

I was on NME site a few weeks ago checking new releases and did a search for Angelina. I was shocked it came back with basically nothing. Then I checked Rolling stone and a few others and didn't find anything there either. One would think Republic would at least garner the juice to say hey, we'd like to send over this ep to get your feedback?

The Music Hall is not an acoustically designed venue. The best acoustic venues in the world (Vienna's Musikverein and Boston's Symphony Hall) were designed with a shoebox architecture with flat side walls and a very high flat ceiling. The last balcony seats are at least 25 feet below the ceiling. There are also no polls supporting a balcony overhang in the middle of the orchestra seats. The Music Hall has opposite of an excellent acoustical venue with low curved ceiling, orchestra seat support polls, and a squished length compared to width. Special concert speakers are setup around The Music Hall to try to minimize the negatives. However, it looks like these were not used for Angelina's concert. Instead, the primary speakers used were two 8' to 10' stacks of line array speakers on the right and left sides of the stage. There were also speakers set at the height of the balcony on the right and left side of the stage to push the sound into the balcony. A problem with line array speakers is that they can be directional with a relatively narrow sound wave. This could help explain why the sound sounded better depending upon where one sat. This was made worse because the sound engineers were setup at mid-stage and being off-stage to the right. Usually the sound engineers are setup at the back of the center orchestra. In other words, they had a distorted sound effect and thus it was extremely tough to make proper adjustments. They also looked to be younger engineers and also may not have been very experienced, especially in this type of venue. Additionally, as noted, the band musicians were young, inexperienced for performing with an artist like Angelina, and only practiced with her one evening the day before the concert and during a sound check at the venue itself on the day of the concert. The setup of the band on the stage was bad where they had the drummer setup directly behind Angelina at the stage height. You can see from other bands, that the drummer should have been either off-center or raised up off the stage due to the nature of the sound generated by a drummer. On top of this, the bassist and sax/clarinetist were setup on the left side of the stage and the inexperienced sound engineers did not tone them down enough. The band did not understand that they were not the stars of the show and that they needed to tone down the loudness being generated by their instruments. Effectively, the band was allowed to step on top of Angelina's voice. Fortunately, the song Unchained Melody had the band playing low in the background, and it was Angelina's best performance of the night. In my opinion, Angelina needs an experienced Music Director to control the on-stage instrumentation and an experienced Sound Engineer who knows how to do the sound correctly no matter what the venue. Many artists, including smaller ones, have these people working for them. In addition, I would advise to have a real piano on the stage. An electric keyboard can also be there, but as a supplement. Then Angelina can sing a few songs with primarily the piano playing. And Angelina herself could also play the piano and sing. Many of Angelina's past cover videos were just her and an acoustic guitar (by either Ivan Mendez or Egil Clausen) where her voice was the main focus. Ergo, in addition to piano performances, there should also be acoustic guitar performances. Plus the band/orchestral instrumentation should be more background music for most of Angelina's songs except for the occasional song where it makes sense for more participation by the band/orchestra. Her band in Norway had a good understanding of letting Angelina be front and center.

Angelina appeared on the View in 2014 when Rosie O’Donnell was the Host. That’s ABC. Angelina was going all over after her win. Why not get her back one the same program. And then ( the Jennifer Hudson Show) doing a ( Then and Now) kind of thing.
