not technically true she was just the first by definition vocaloid. there were other voice synthesizers but hatsu simply was the first one with a real consensus about personality as well as being the first main stream one. and for the record I was by no means talking down to her, she is god of electronica. :D

Chances are it's an Adobe After Effects audio spectrum visualizer. Basically when you open a file you can lay this down and it will play the audio spectrum is supports. IE: You can set the spectrum from 0-2000. Or have one visualizer for bass (0-200) and the other for treble and lighter sounds.
