The best way to measure impact IRL is to understand how it is improving human needs, including their emotional needs. Raising awareness about fundamental emotional needs is the lost effective way to improve the world because even the concept changes the paradigm. Most people don't realize that human beings require certain psychological experiences to develop properly and stay healthy. Without them they cannot just toughen through it. Without them they cannot become contributers to society. Without them they will become a burden or even a danger because they will become destructive. This cultivates responsibility for others. Without this understanding other human beings are mostly seen as a threat. They can take our job, our clients and our land. When people see other human beings as generally being a threat, they want to dominate them or even kill them. That is what we see in society. That is what makes society so scary and mean.
