Getting ready to put a trans kit in, any suggestions on what to get. I have a edge cts3 and currently running a 70 hp tune. I can go to a 100 hp tune but afraid I’ll have to do head work. Stock fuel and intake with the bigger mouth piece, 3 inch down pipe and 4 inch exhaust.
I suggest finding a local Allison builder near you to build it. And ditch the edge tuning and go with some custom tune files using efi live. Truck/trans will be much happier.
1 that kit won't do nothing it needs to 2 go to redline if your in ohio their stage 4 lasted 10 years in my truck geting beat on every other day 70mph burnouts you name it thst truck did it

what stall converter ? I've fought my truck trying to spool all year. truck has a 5 blade 468 with a 10 mill and 60 overs. rn trucks got a sun cost triple disk 2600 stall and its just a dog
You said your problem right in that sentence if you didn’t realize it… haha. But like I said in the video. Goerend K or BF is what you need. This truck has a K. If planing on going with bigger charger, go with a J. Good Tuning also goes a long way
The 67 will be fine if the right converter atleast 2200 but talk to tuner might want to go next up. Depending your end goals just the bigger mm turbine will require more rpm to be efficient although 72 or bigger would not be ideal towing maybe 12k or more often not that it won’t do it
