Christianity isn't just a bunch of good ideas, we reject God to reduce Him to this. He has a plan, that plan involves rules and prayers and doing stuff that no one likes anymore but it also involves you and your seat on the roller coaster. You don't know where it's going to go & that is the point. We're in the world but not of it. We play the game with an eternal outlook.
As Catholics we've stepped back from the public square only to be replaced with noise, glamour and living for the moment.
