I appreciate them the most out of all the band's. I listen to their music daily. It's a major part of my existence since I was blessed with their music in 95'
@@danielfarmer6062 It was such a great journey starting out with Sink as their first super underground masterpiece and watching them evolve as artists over the years I'm so blessed to have been led to them. 😁
I had the unfortunate pleasure of being in bands and playing shows like battle of the bands at the starry night. So incredibly gifted and talented. I became a huge fan. I then became friends with their manager at the time. We drove to eugene and I had the opportunity to buy them dinner and hang with them before their show. And damn it if rob would not let me see the set list. What a great group of guys. I'm envious and also so grateful to enjoy their music. How the rage of the Seattle scene back then didn't sweep them up... in a way I'm also thankful that it didn't. Unbelievable amazing, fantastically talented. I really can't say enough. I've never been disappointed... except when he wouldn't let me see the set list.
I was turned onto these guys in 2001 down in Phoenix by a guy named Josh and I’ve been hooked on Floater ever since. There’s nobody else like them and they’re not like anybody else I love that.
I like the fact that every album is different from the next and every song is different from any other song. It is like listing to a different band and if you did not know it was the same you would think it was a different band.
I've loved this band since the 90s, pretty much as soon as I heard "SINK" I was hooked. A buddy had moved to Maine from Seattle, we have a local band here named Twisted Roots that he liked, he said "check these guys out" (Floater) and I was amazed that they weren't more popular, they're really a great band.
Sounds like me. I heard Sink in 96 when I went to college. Peter the destroyer instantly sucked me in. The whole album is a masterpiece from start to the end. Then I heard they had another album. Boom! Favorite band for life!
WOOOO FUCK YEAH WooooOOOO ... ah yea... i really hope they play again for us next year, like, around may. *EDIT* YEA SEE YOU SUMMER 2019 **edit** this definitely deserves two thumbs up but youtube only lets me use one thumb per video.
I love them. Sucks they never hit mainstream but at the same time it doesn't because they still put out the greatness they always have instead of phoning it in
To be fair, they had one song make it mainstream. From what I've been told, a big part of why they never went mainstream was their desire to keep their style of music. Going mainstream/joining a major record label would likely have taken away their creativity as they wanted it.
Yeah I would just like to voice my frustrations with RU-vid has anyone else noticed that someone has stolen Floater's topic Page on RU-vid and it now has some guy's auto-tuned mumble rap. someone needs to contact RU-vid and let them know or Floater needs to go on RU-vid and claim it's topic account back because this guy stole it and he has turned all the comments off because I kept bad-mouthing him and telling him he needed to get his own RU-vid account
