S8 MaxV Ultra - Unboxing and Pre-Cleaning Preparation (with Refill and Drainage System) 

This should’ve been the easiest thing in the world to do, but it’s not. I have no idea why they chose the size connections that they did. I could’ve easily connected this to my utility sink using a dishwasher drain. However, dishwasher drain is 1/2 inch and this drain hose is 3/8 so now I have to figure out how to rearrange a whole drain. Also the water intake valve is 5/8, but the faucet on my sink is 3/8. I believe that my utility sink is standard size in the US. So I have no idea how they come up with the sizes but they’ve taken something really simple into a requirement to redo all my plumbing.

Is the auto refill and drain an option on both the S8 maxV versions? I read somewhere it was but am not convinced.

Okay it drains the water but how does it clean what would have been the dirty water/drain tank?
