My sincere condolences to the entire community at Monkey World in your devastating loss of Teko. You deal with life and death fairly regularly but your empathy toward the animal kingdom is so compassionate. Thank you for the life you gave him.
is it compassion? before humans had medicine and transport these animals would have died in the wild as they should have but instead we intervene and make sure that nature cant do what nature does
lol I didn't know it was possible for the orangs to see the chimps so closely like that when they're both up high in their structures. I can just imagine the orangs bewildered expressions when chaos breaks out among the chimps and they start screaming and flying around while the orangs just stare like "seriously? again?"
He certainly was magnificent in structure. I am so very sorry for those of you who interacted with him on a daily basis. They tend to sneak into your heart without you even realizing it .......💔 Zoe , Canada
I'm sorry to see Tico's passing. He was truly a beautiful chimp with the body builder's body. He always looked, to me, that he had a lot on his mind too. RIP
Awww Teko so sorry to see your gone🥺🥺 I will miss you and your tough looking exterior. But happy you had a great life after being rescued. Love you 😥😢🤗 Osheen is looking fabulous 😍 She has gotten her girl bod back.🤗
My condolences for the entire chimpanzee family and all the people their who loved Teko. He was such a sweet and funny character and soo in shape buff! I always loved watching him, especially loved watching him with the babies. R.I.P. Teko

Rest in peace, Tico! ❤ (Always hard when we lose an animal. Especially when they are so closely related to us. It's like losing a family member or a friend. Not the same, but I lost my 15 yr old dog in December. I was there when she was born, I had to bottle feed her for a short time, I literally would carry her everywhere I went in the front pocket of my Carhartt jacket when she was 6-8 weeks old. To school, to the ranch I worked on where she was born, my friends whenever we would go for a walk around town, they would hold her, she was super popular with the town, even when we moved from Montana to Alaska, the entire trip through Alberta thru to the Yukon, people would come up and love on her. Miss her so much and I think about her every day. (miss you, Jazzy! ❤)
So sorry to hear about the loss of an amazing chimp. Any loss is hard, especially when they are so close to us. I feel for you and the troop and hope they grieve and learn to cope with the loss of their friend/clan mate. Poor thing.. 😥Breaks my heart to hear.
I always wanted to know, when he died, were the others aware and went to him as he was out there. Do they know he died, or do they just think he's gone from their group
I’m curious. When a chimp dies does the staff leave the body out there for awhile so the chimps can figure out he died and for some closure or do they remove the body right away so the chimps think he just kinda disappeared.
@Cheryl Forfang there's currently 15 seasons, we are not in any danger of running out. I'm just sad the channel seems to have listened to a comment like that instead of the rest of the fans praising them for 2 a day
I bet if the staff had a funeral in their park and buried him with big pictures and sang a song the whole tribe would participate and the ritual would could become part of the tribes tradition. Imagine if they tried to bury one of their own after this. Gotta wonder. We just put them in cages never trying to gently urge their cognitive evolution. Very dystopian having them locked in their primate form out of environment for the rest of time, if anything devolving.
Injection /sudden death is a psyop. It's part of the Clade X pandemic exercise of 2018 scenario. Take it from someone who's had "open eyes" for 15 years and who doesn't fall for the propaganda.
As a novice he appeared to be a different species. His muscle definition, his forlorn expression, his distinctive lack of NATURAL HAIR AND SKIN TONE ARE VERY UNUSUAL… one could ask how many injections has he received from PETA OWNERS OF THAT PARK. They give land to folks who will accept the responsibility of confiscated pets, stolen zoo animals or other unauthorized “goods.” Humans are we this DUMB?
