This is one South African whose contribution is underrated. He is well read, astute, morally sound, brave, and has the best interest of our country at heart. Thanks for finding him and engraving his thought on the information highway... Ayeye!
You won't believe me but let me tell you. I am the biggest fan of Prince. On a weekly basis, I search for his videos, radio interviews, or his writings. This man tells it as it is without fear of any kind. Very robust, articulate, and informative. Thank you
I am a seventy year old white grandmother...you guys give me so much hope for a prosperous and happy future for my grandchildren in this beautiful country of ours...thank you!!!❤❤❤
Sizwe my brother you doing the most. You targeting the generation between 18-45 years. We are listening, we have not been voting for years. You speak our language. We getting informed, we are ready for 2024!!
The likes of Prince Mashele should be the leaders of our country. We'll educated, well read, individuals with moral fiber, integrity and conviction ... who actually care about the future of their children in SA. Great interview # SMWX
Wow. I can't remember when last I sat throughout an interview without getting angry. The views of these 2 gentlemen were razor sharp. If only the masses out there can see this. I'm definitely following this channel. First time here and thank you for a very thought provoking interview.
I wish more people had access to this content. Patriotism doesn't have to be cloaked in political colours. Just doing the right thing is enough. Big up bra Prince!
Yes, I wish all South Africans would understand once and for all so we can save our country that it's not about black and white, it's about wrong or right.
Mr Mashele he knows his political story,he analyses faily and he opens our minds with his view in politics. Thanks Dr Mpofu for the interview you conducted.
I love this country too. I believe all of us that love this country, need to really stand together. Enough is enough truly. ANC will be the demise of us all.
Thank you very much Sizwe for inviting this gentleman. I'm going to be very honest here, I used to dislike him.. thinking that his political views were biased, until I started following his political commentary and analysis on a consistent basis. He's very well-read and is very factual in his analysis. I also like your style of interviewing, you're not overbearing and your political views and understanding are so rich with depth. Keep up the great work man👊🏼
Brilliant interview with insightful topics! At around 56:11 Mr Mashele mentions that he has seen Africans abroad embarrassed to return to their own countries; he's so RIGHT - talking from experience, I'm Zimbabwean, came to the UK to study in 1975 with the hope of returning to an independent Zimbabwe. I did the education & have a substantial role but meanwhile Zimbabwe is such a $hithole of a country I'd never live in, the Chinese are mining everything leaving holes in the ground with no restoration, my people are dying in mines, potholes everywhere, the country is lawless, thugs everywhere - it's a dogs breakfast, no rubbish collection, when sewage breaks down it doesn't get repaired- it's disgusting. Draconian human rights! The irony is the Zimbabwean politicians want to be held by the same standards as the ones in the developed world.
Thank you for this fantastic interview! Mr Mashele, can't you be our state president??!! No one can help but have respect for you. God bless you and your family. We share the love we each have for this beautiful country which has a heartbeat nowhere to be found on mother earth!🕯🕯🕯💞
I was glued to the conversation since up to the end and indeed you finally delivered. Big ups to you and Mr Mashele.I am a changed person after I listened. There is hope for us,keep up the good work fellow South Africans.
@@mandlenkosihlazo977 yes it is..and even worse than ZESA....if that's the answer you are looking for and trust me its gonna get worse. But l guess you are not well versed with the politics of power and electricity across Africa. And that's why your question sounds sarcastic..you have to realise that what happened in Zim, its a preview of what is gonna happen through out Africa. Its not a Zimbabwe thing. Infact Botswana, Kenya, Mozambique, etc are also battling with the same issue of power blackouts. But then people thought it wont happen in their countries.
I like this Prince...... He is so calm and talks sense not non-sense...... In South Africa the time has come for all to stand together! Forget about all our differences, safe our Land!!!!!
This touched me a lot. I'm black and I don't want to see people in to leave this country to face racism in Europe. I take this to heart coz I have been there before!+
What a brilliant interview. Why is this person not in our parliament. Such a broad vision. First interview that make sense. Please spread this message wide. We do not need criminals and division anymore. God created us all equal, and therefore we need to respect one another.
But let those who understand nation building pave the way. Just saying what you like to hear is no confirmation that someone is a good leader or candidate for presidency. Learn from those who have been successful at it, and see the difference. And no, not necessarily locally, God forbid, but internationally or historically. You forget, people around here vote for ANC and people like EFF, both filthy, outdated racialist commie organizations. Showing us that people have actually no clue what a true leader is let alone what actual good politics is, not even bothering to do the research to see if any of it worked before, which is doesn't. A good example of these parties, an Empty can when struck, makes the loudest noise.
What an articulate gentleman who loves his country and not afraid to tell it like he sees it. Big ups SMWX for bringing the creme de la creme. You really don't disappoint. The way you engage your guests is quite commendable. What I'm afraid of exactly is what Mr Mashele alluded to, there is no other country we have. We have to do the right thing by putting our X in the right place.
I love it when people who are unbiased and share their opinions that based on facts. I love the fact that Sizwe interviews people without showing his own baises and let's people talk. Big up Hlubi, ngelengele
Mr Mashele is always fantastic and this is another great one! Great convo about the coalitions and sentiments about non-South Africans. The scary part of what Mr Mashele is saying about the silos of different protests around the country is growing at an alarming rate! Thanks Sizwe for hosting. 🤗
I really think it is important to applaud you, Sizwe & Prince, for sharing your views. These conversations remain important in shaping the politics of our country. I wish that some of your theories and possible coalition predictions could materialize in 2024; especially opposition parties co-governace. Prince shared interesting views on how it could advance accountability. #AyeyeSMWX
Thanks so much for a clear and rational discussion - it gives all hope for the future and proves the quality of people we have in this country . All the best to you both and keep spreading the message far and wide .
Thank you for this informative content Dr Mpofu. I like the tone of Mr Mashele's voice. He speaks with boldness spearheading the main factors of SA politics. He showcases profound ultimate knowledge of SA politics and speaks boldly without fear. Dr Mpofu, I would like to hear him giving insight and prospect of the ANC vote percentage 2024 moreover subsequent to former Prez Zuma's recent ANC coup de grace
The hour went by to quick....thanks Dr Mpofu -Walsh for bringing Prince to the channel. Im always excited to hear wat he has to say regarding our politics. Amazing interview as usual💪🏾
We really need this type of conversation. I am very concerned about the fact that our politicians look at 2024 through the wrong lenses and are pre-occupied with questions that might not be appropriate to such a historic moment. It is very disappointing that we are more preoccupied with personalities and not policies and developing effective frameworks to improving the capabilities of the administrative arm of the state, the public service.
Wooow this analyst is absolutely amazing. You can tell that He is not captured. Always on point. Please bring him back together with Rutendo and Gogo Aubrey 🙏
One of the most vocal..critical thinkers whose voice should be listened to and should be heeded...these are the types of people whose voice and insights we will cry for when SA..is in an apocalypse.
One of the best interviews I have listened to. Both interviewer and his guest have sharp incisive political minds. We need more such intelligent no holds barred analysis
The most objective, intellectual, honest and rational analysis of the South African political landscape I've ever had the privilege to watch. I could listen to quality conversation like this all day, every day. We are all richer for having invested the time to watch. Sincerely thank you for producing this piece of work.
This Prince Mashele needs to be applauded he has the backbone to stand for what is right in our country, and iff you you don't stand for what is right believe me be prepared for the day when you must stand before God as the judge to give account of your deeds especially those who was sworn in with their hand on the Bible that they would serve the people they represent.
Thank you for bringing the true and honest student of South African discourse and trajectory. Prince is indeed thee think tank extraordinaire. I was at awe the whole interview. I hope more and more people will see this. Keep up the good work Sizwe.
The categorization of EFF supporters, as a whole, as uneducated, unemployed and UNEMPLOYABLE is flawed. Many EFF supporters are educated and gainfully employed. Moreover, the disruption at Parliament is representation of outrage and chaos of our people. We can't sit down and accept lies and corruption. It's can't be status quo as the country burns. Great interview! 🙏🏽
I hope all South African can listen to this conversation. The honesty about what exactly caused our current situation and how we got here, is a breath of fresh air. Personally, the biggest mistake of the ANC regime (Withstanding the corruption and mismanagement), was creating Parastatals and not privatizing these companies.
ANC didn't create any parastatal, they inherited them from the Apartheid regime in 1994. They just renamed some of them to get credibility. There is no problemdeployment. parastatals execpt for monopoly and Cadre
Thanks for this fascinating, intellectual conversation. I found myself nodding in agreement, and had quite a few aha moments too- especially about coalitions, and how they secretly want the other party to morph into theirs.
Hi brother Sizwe, thanks for the SMWX platform, it could never have come at a right time than now. Please continue facilitating these insightful conversations, it's the only way we can get many people involved with national politics and eventually defeat apathy. Please also pay attention to the issue of sound, it's smooth but I think it's a bit low. Ayeye!
Thoroughly enjoyed Prince’s insights and views, particularly his take on immigration and how this issue it has been distorted as a result of ineffective policies and failure to manage entry and exit into SA. Thanks Sizwe - more of these stimulating sessions please!
I like this guy a lot the only political analyst who tells the truth about the state of the country... Know how to navigate the nation to which steps we should take for the real change
Prince is brave, mostly true. Thanks abuti for this space. You are one of the best on social media platforms, INTERNATIONALLY. MAY YOU GROW HIGHER & WISE.
Thank you Prince I'm an old women now this loadshedding is new to me this has never happened before all is linked to the present ruling party , I can only shake my head in shame, they always playing the blame game , who they blaming ,,,,,,,the previous government we sick of it 😢😢😢😢😢
Well said . We need outspoken individuals like you that call a spade spade. I did not march for freedom to have people steal our state resources. We need new blood to turn our country around. I am concerned for our born frees . 🙏We need elected, articulated people who walk the talk
Well done guys for a good conversation. I think you need to start thinking what happens in 2028 (elections after 2024). Especially in light of South Africa’s history of changing political allegiances every 40-45 years since 1850. I think we are in for a sea of change, but the unfortunate part is that once a change takes place, it will be endorsed and supported for another 40 years without being held accountable. It’s scary how South Africans suffer through bad governance yet seldom change them
