Just bought one of these for my mom. I wish there was a step by step video tutorial about exactly how to assemble it. It was much MUCH more difficult to do than the seller said.
Hello, thank you for this feedback and we apologize that the lift was more difficult to assemble than anticipated. We will take this information and use it to make our resources better in the future. If you have any other questions or need assistance please reach out to us directly at info@bestcarellc.com and we would be happy to help.
You should have just got the Sit to Stand Lift because this is ridiculous in comparison. I don’t even know why people still buy these when you can get the Sit to Stand Lift with the butt pads that are way easier to use and way more comfortable and safer for the individual.
When plugging in the lift the charger's light will intermittently switch from amber to green. It goes back and forth several times. It seems odd that the light is green while the LCD screen indicates that the device is not fully charged. Would anyone with the company happen to know a fix to this issue, or possibly what is causing it? If I cannot fix it I would like to at least have some ease of mind putting it back into the field.
A likely scenario is the battery voltage is right at the cutoff between charging and full charge. You may leave the battery in charging over night and see if the light turns to constant green after the battery is fully charged. You may also keep using the lift and allow the battery to drain further before charging it. In this case, the charger should show constant amber to indicate charging. EXTREMELY difficult to move on carpet with a person standing on the machine. Absolutely needs a motorized version. I'm afraid of a heart attack or hernia from trying to push this thing at home on carpet.
Purchased at Office Depot- 2 - 4"by 5" plastic that is often used in offices for chairs to slide- have along top of bed and along side of bed- much easier to move
