A bit of a game-changer today: I hadn't heard the car run and bought it in the hope that it would be mechanically sound enough.
I popped a good battery on and...away she went, happy days! :-)
Fresh oil, petrol and some fuel system cleaner were then added, along with a change of plugs and leads which cured its hesitancy to rev cleanly...
