My 91 900S convertible is my daily driver. Top down as much as possible in sunny Colorado. Much easier to live with for a 54 year old than a sportier BMW. At 6 2 230 it is much easier on the backside. If I want to go fast I will get a week end toy. Normally aspirated with 3 speed slush box is fine in city traffic. Inexpensive to buy and rust free in the wild west. Maintenance no problem with lots of local enthusiasts. So it drips but doesn't burn oil. Only 170k miles and putting 10k a year on for last two years. Hopefully it will last until daughters through college. Seem to get compliments from men over 50. Even a millenial liked the clam shell retro styling.

I drove a mint 1990 900s from 2004 til 2007 with 130,000 miles on the clock. Eventually we got tired of fixing it all the time and sold it for $1700.

I would love to own one of these. I’ve had five Saabs. But I don’t trust the electrics of this thing enough to be able to drive it. Speaking from experience. My friend had a 1989 900 in 2000. The thing was a nightmare. I can’t imagine a 30+ year old Saab is trusty. Don’t get me wrong I love the brand. I was actually emotional when they shut it down. But I probably don’t have the money to play in this league
