@@evantimm6053 I think some of it could be rotational torque effect from the turbine engine but otherwise I don't think it is controlled roll, more swaying instability from the Havok being in an unstable hover.
Ummm, except it takes significantly more skill, time, money and experience to be able to acquire and fly those RC planes for your "MVP" to film in the first place. Don't get me wrong, the camerawork was fine, but don't take away from those "pilots".
@@AlfaKenyBody Who can't? I've been flying 3D on helis since 1993, high alpha with a lot of modern planes is fairly easy. But they have half or quarter sped the video at the end, so they may not even have gyros, a lot of the smoothness really comes from the video editing at the end. But gyros are dirt cheap now, so it's likely even if they weren't using them at the time. BTW there is no ' upside down '. Once you progress beyond a certain point with a heli all orientations are equal, you putting 'upside down ' as though that is special in there made me LOL,. I literally haven't thought of 'upside down' as if it were special in the way you mean it in 20+ years, so it's hilarious you're adding it in like it's an extra difficulty level.. 'I am sure you can do that' You're on an RC RU-vid video, I'd expect half everyone watching this can fly, and probably 5 or 10 percent can hover a plane well enough themselves. It's like being on a 3D printer video and not expecting half everyone watching the video to also have a few 3D printers on hand. If you don't already fly yourself get flying, RC is cheap as dirt now, easier than it looks, and one of the more enjoyable activities you'll find..
The aerodynamics of these vector thrust controlled RC air vehicles is mind-blowing! It looks like Macross come alive - in the end those spectacular anime flight characteristics were very realistic after all. It looks amazing! Thank you for sharing!

The neon paint works so well for seeing them far away! These are excellent in form and function. A great pair. Some of the best I've seen. I really like them. I want them both but especially that bright yellow-green one...

it was so hilarious when the drake performed the "cobra" then the havok was like "shit i gotta do that too" then they were like "let's see who can do this longer" hahahhaha
I didn't see them fly those jets in person, so thanks for the video. I did however see the Bossion brothers (who were flying these jets) absolutely batter the **** out of their helicopters over on the heli side just after I arrived yesterday. It was awesome. I also saw Dunkan Bossion fly the Tortuga (a mini Drake if you like) over there too. That thing was like a missile.
