@@AXforever7 Late July - early August. Sadly the latest edition had to be virtual (bands performing in a studio), but let's hope the next year will be normal
@@tomaszzdaniuk1841 550000 according to the festival's own Wikipedia page but once you push past half a million people the numbers start to not matter as much as far as how insanely large the crowd seems.
I’m able too consider myself lucky to be there during this concert. Sabaton officially didn’t know about the flag until they have seen it. Whenever I hear this song I remind myself how proud I can be that I’m Polish. I do appreciate Sabaton’s approach whit writing songs about history. Also it’s nice to see people reviewing this masterpiece.
There was nothing about hostages. There was a line of Polish defense in Wizna. The Nimecs attacked without warning and had many times greater forces than those stationed in Wizna. And they defended themselves to the last soldier to give Poland time to mobilize the army.
Check out Attack of the Dead Men, either live, lyric vid, or the fan made version. You will never fear movie or video game zombies ever again after that song and the history it tells.
Audio of this video does not do the song justice. One of the risks you take with watching the live preformance, ofc with this song, *this* live preformance is the only video you should watch, so ultimatly you did the right thing. However, I strongly suggest you listen to the studio version when you get a minute over.
They were singing something, but I believe it was when one of the event organizers yelled something at the crowd that they decided to sing the national anthem. At least, that's what it looked like on the backstage vid.
Captain Władysław Raginis said that he would not come out of the bunker alive and blew himself up with a grenade. THIS IS A HISTORY OF A REALLY GREAT FILM POLISH CINEMAS WERE INFLAMMED WITH Tears TO THE CEILING. NOT WITH REGRENT BUT WITH PRIDE AND WE KNOW THAT WE HAVE, WE HAVE AND WANT TO BE THE SAME AS THEM. Ps. I already cry from reading it
A really fun fact about this song I dont see around too much, Sabaton was actually granted honorary Polish citizenship for their works (and this song particularly) honoring Polish history. Just a fun tidbit that helps to realize how much of an impact music can have. ;)
Swedish band in Poland.. making the crowd sing their national anthem to Sabaton.. you think Sabaton have an impact on people????? 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 You think Sabaton make people feel nation pride wherever they go?? Still doubting?!! ?? ❤️❤️❤️
I wish you guys had watched the extended one where the audience of 600-700 thousand people sing the Polish national anthem at the band. This whole concert was just such a thing of beauty, not just the music, but the brotherhood in the audience, the connection between them and the band.. Just magnificent!
This is most widely - known Woodstock Concert (Pol'and'Rock Festival) is free concert organized by Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy) . You can find EVERY kind of music there not only metal also rock, reggae, etc. It is a place of a great possitive energy - a lot cheaper to organize a trip there than for ex. concerts in Germany. Highly recommended to go and see!
Stealing from a comment I seen somewhere else: - Hello, is this the Flag Manufactoring Company? Can you make a Polish Flag for me? - Yes, how big do you want it? - How about... 4 football fields? ... ... ... (Click) - "The number you have called is no longer in operation".
*Flag company:* Hello, how may I help you? *Joakim:* Um, yes...I need to purchase a 100' by 300' Polish flag. *Flag Company:* Are you...serious? *Joakim:* Yes. *Flag Company:* (click)
The plan was for Poland to hold Germany for two weeks; France would invade Germany from the west, followed by Britain. France and Britain wussed out. Poland held for FOUR weeks even after the Soviets invaded on Sept. 17th.

Is it wrong that whenever they show the people under the flag, my first thought is immediately that parachute game everybody got to play when they were kids?
*WOODSTOCK FESTIVAL POLAND* 2012❕❗ This is _sector 🇵🇱_ of Poland, it covers the entire tribune sector of a football (soccer) stadium. And the band didn't know we're gonna unfold it;)
Nice! It`s about Battle of Wizna! And the meaning of this song is that each one of Polish soldiers had to defeat 40 German soldiers to survive, and they did it!
At the start of the video when Joakim is holding the... "balloon" he says something like "Dearest people of Poland... I need to talk to you about sexual education, this is not what you are supposed to do with these things". Strangest of all - With all the flame throwers that Sabaton always have on stage (8-9 tons of equipment), how did it make it all the way up to the stage without getting popped? 🤫 Cheers / B.
A lot of countries call it soccer like ex here in South Africa football is the pussy version of rugby that Americans play and soccer is called soccer or sokker
Someone said there were 800 000 people there... I don't know but it's a big effing crowd! You guys should check out Swedish Pagans from Wacken, their guest artist is pretty badass on her cello :-)
From what I can find online at the festival's own wikipedia page it seems like 550,000 attended the festival but I doubt that they all watched this show. Either way it's one of the larger crowds I've seen that's for sure
