@Невада большевик no that was true Russia did have equipment shortages but it was a problem that was being solved quickly Stallin was industrializing Russia and once that was done begin mass production on equipment that’s one of the reasons Hitler attacked first he believed Russia would be a threat if they could industrialize he still believed he could win but he didn’t want to deal with the extra trouble US equipment was shipped over and helped buy time till Russia could industrialize and a lot of that equipment was still used after they had industrialized Russia wasn’t playing around in this war they knew there weaknesses and fixed them fast and once they had industrialized there production of equipment went up to the point they were keeping up with the US and even in some areas out producing the US once that happened with the exception of a couple fights they had trampled Germany and I believe they also started supplying China to the US did help but they also had to help Britain who had lost a lot of there equipment early in the war and the rest of the western allies and were readying there own war machine to join the fight knowing they’d probably end up in the fight to they could only send so much equipment out to Russia and they still sent a lot 11.3 billion dollars in equipment is not a small thing but again Russia would’ve probably been able to hold out even without that equipment they had the numbers to buy the time they needed and with Hitler and his generals poor planning and underestimating the Soviets and the fact that winter was brutal on the German army it was never going to go well for Germany there would’ve been more losses but there was always going to be losses but Russia was going to win
