There is one youtuber in Russia, and his nik is Radio Tapok (Radio Slipper). And first of all, Army of Tapok is here. So usualy he makes a russian covers of famost songs, but also he has some videos named 'Easyrock'. In that videos Tapok makes a song simmilar to famost bands style. So about year ago he did the Easyrock to Sabaton. And now Sabaton makes a cover of him!
@@PowerfulReactions indeed. The original song is called "Битва за Москву" (Bitva za Moskvu), the exact translation is The Battle for Moscow. Here is the link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yw0jQBLbhLU.html And I think you should check his covers as well! (not only Sabaton of course). Two more facts about Sabaton and Tapok. Tapok's video cover in Russian for The Attack Of The Dead Men was released one day before the official audio version of the song (and it was not a leak as Sabaton themselves took part in the video) And it was just awesome. Second - Tapok sang that song on the stage along with Joakim in Russia, so the verses were sung in Russian by Tapok and the chorus in English by both vocalists. PS my favorite Sabaton song is Night Witches (or Ночные Ведьмы by Tapok - check it out!)
Тоже хотел ему накидать про Тапка, но есть более расторопные люди с лучшим знанием английского, чем у меня). Неплохо было бы отметить, что у Сабатона используется мотив гимна СССР, но это уже так ...
My guess: Russia gets so much bad press in the West that it's easy to forget that behind the bad press is just a bunch of people who have nothing to do with any of that press, and so seeing people from all over react to and have such a love for an ode to and reminder of a part of their history would be alluring. (Probably could have worded it better, but I hope I get my thought across.)
OMG OMG OMG!!! That was amazing! The song is timed to May 9, Victory Day! Thank you Sabaton for this amazing song! Thank you Professor for this reaction! But the most amazing part is the anthem of the USSR in the middle of the song! OMG! I’m really in shock right now! Eternal memory to fallen heroes! 🕯 Bravo 👏🏻 🙏🏻❤️
Ha!) Very interesting reaction)) ... But ... this is a cover) For the song "Битва за Москву" (Battle for Moscow) by Radio Tapok) ... But ... that song is made as a "song in style of Sabaton" in Russian)))
Considering that it's a cover of the Russian song "in the style of Sabaton", it's funny to hear that it's "typical Sabaton". Oleg Radio Tapok - unrealistically cool! He wrote a song about the history of his country, which makes it so powerful.
@@Si-lj2rx Thanks for the heads-up :-) Just checked it out, and liked. Since Radio Tapok covered multiple Sabaton songs, it seems just right to go the other way this time :-)
Agreed that this is Sabaton's best song yet, even if they didn't write it, their choice of the Russo/Soviet Anthem as a framework for their chordal progressions really sets it apart from the Radio Tapok original, which has more of a mournful "You will be remembered for your heroic sacrifice, Comrade" mood than the pumped "Ve are stronk like Russian Bear! Let's kick their Yatzee butts all the way back to Berlin, and work up a #6 on 'em!" The Russian Anthem is a very solid and inspiring composition and arguably the world's best, only the French La Marseillaisse can compare, and in Sabaton's hands it bangs and shreds remarkably well. This grateful American who KNOWS that Normandy and Iwo were far from the worst WW ll ever got, doffs his hat. I may not have to face the Wermacht, but It'll definitely help me take on the weight stack.
Good reaction and i am really liking this song and the video well typical Sabaton...nice tune while learning some history! Thnx Johnny for doing this 🤘
Song is good, indeed to me their favorite as well ... Video is awesome with the right perspective ... Lol ok not having goosies all the time like you but they were there to ... Great reaction Johnny ... Let's get that 70k in no time you can do it ...
Yup , as I commented on the video its self, every Sabaton music video , is an incredible mini movie, they care about their music enough to make a video that shows that.
this is a cover song for RADIO TAPOK Russian blogger who did covers of Sabaton and other bands they had an agreement of course Sabaton is of course a very good band that tells stories in songs But ORIGINAL pay attention to the dates Link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yw0jQBLbhLU.html&ab_channel=RADIOTAPOK
If Russia wants to revive the soviet union, the only thing they need to do is pay sabaton for an entire album with songs like this one. I am so proud to be Russian even though i am not 😂
This is actually a cover of the Russian author, who made cavers and translations of Sabbaton for years and that it's ended with Sabbaton making a cover of his own original song! Type "Tapok defence of Moscow" for the original video on Russian.
Stand and Follow command, our blood for the homeland! Heed the motherlands call and brace for the storm! Moscow will never give in, there is no surrender! Force them into defeat and into retreat!
Hard to disprove your claim for personal best, but If I may suggest the following: - Night Witches (from "Heroes") - The Red Baron (from "The Great War") - The entire "The Last Stand" Album, in particular the titular song, Shiroyama, AND Winged Hussars. Trust me when I say you'll not be disappointed.
Not agree this one is the best - it feels like most generic Sabaton song (which is understandable, as Oleg made his song as typical early Sabaton). Though its epic and great, e.g. Night Witches is better in almost every way.
@@evilbabai7083 Да, не лучшая быть может в репертуаре Сабатона, но для нас, поклонников Тапка прикольно, необычно и круто видеть кавер на его песню в исполнении этой группы. В то же время ты сам показал мурашки на коже )
Amazing WWII fact. Of all Russian soldiers who turned 20 in 1941 and were drafted (which was a helluva lot) only 3% survived the war. 97 of every 100 Russian soldiers drafted to defend Moscow, Leningrad, etc. were killed by the Germans.
