Based on a lot of the topics of their songs I would say it's most likely about American trench guns in WWI and how the Germans didn't want us to use shotgun's because they were "inhumane" (even though they used mustard gas) but then we went and used them anyway
@@DavidKazuma that would make a lot of sense, but I can't find any source confirming it as the theme of the song. I get that sabaton denounces inhumane acts in some songs, but lines like "I work alone, o bad for evil, Satan's number 1" seem pretty unproportional to the use of shotguns as inhumane weapons
@@apollon5205 Well not really when you consider the americans unique faith and love/hate relationship with satan in that context. Their soldiers embraced the "heretical" shit like that during wartime more than any other in the world wars. One man, the devil among jerries, with his shotgun, was kind of like a wartime mythos.
I love this song! it invokes the awesome feeling of getting an automatic shotgun in an fps, and just letting loose! the bang of the gun, shells flying everywhere, and your foes being torn asunder and thrown across the room! there is nothing quite like it!
