The most underrated Sabaton song, without a doubt... It has everything: epicness, feelings, you can taste the desperation while Joakim are singing, the heartbreaking riffs... I don't know why every single recopilation of Sabaton songs in youtube not even mention it... Unthinkable
Phyz Warhammer 40k, actually...I mean, they did have a contract with GW back in the day. GW is the creators of warhammer...and if you look at those games...and then warcraft, starcraft...Yeeeeeeah. Humans = Space marines, Zerg = Tyranids, Protoss = Eldar.
+larkinor TBH I will always like Starcraft and Warcraft more than Warhammer simply due to them taking what they had and improvising and in my opinion making it better along with Blizzard also making a universe and game in which so much can happen and I will say this, WOW will most likely be superior to anything GW bring out as a virtual game but I am not saying the board version is shit, just that I wish for a Warhammer universe in the virtual world to be given the same effort as WOW and Starcraft like DOW(in my opinion). I will be frank and also say that even if TW: Warhammer is really good and the RPG is as well I still believe it is a bit too late for them to move on the gaming market to be able to compete with other companies.
DovaDwarf for some reason it seems youre only comparing the games, the reason we dont have a big game of warhammer fantasy or 40k is because they focus on miniature gaming
+Maako I prefer virtual gaming over miniature but the Warhammer universes would be perfect for just about any game (No dating sim fuck off) and this annoys me. I know they focus on miniature gaming I've had a few games of it myself with a friends army ( I lost and won, mainly luck) and I will say it is awesome but as I said it seems that with the two new games they are looking at the virtual market. I believe that if they want something big in the virtual gaming world they will have to work their asses off. The tabletop game is OK and I enjoy it but at the same time I would prefer playing the Space Marine (3rd person shooter) mowing down thousands of Orks rather than play the tabletop, the same goes for when I play DOW and I see Titans walking across the battlefield with the mods. I just prefer it that way.
Isn't it funny that the song goes down like a mechanical walker, that's what I see when I listen to this, just think, a star wars AT-ST, walking to the lyrics of he song, and when the song goes " LEADING THEM STRIAIGHT INTO HELL!", The walker gets hit be a rocket.
oh, im sorry. maybe these are regular troops, rather than ultra-augmented killing machines made specifically for extended combat in the harshest conditions imaginable. geez, why does everyone compare these marines to the Space Marines?! mayhaps you'd like to match 'em up to the Imperial Guardsmen, which is a better idea because these are the line soldiers. pf. flashlights vs gauss rifles? sad battle, really.
SlappinDaHoe The sheer numbers of the Imperial Guard however, the Terran Marines would drown in blood and bodies. And besides, if you were to match the Terran Armies against the Armies of the Imperial Guard, you would find that the Imperial Guard would have little trouble destroying the Terrans.
without materiel and mechanized support, the Marines' gauss rifles would cut right through the IG, whereas the flashlights would do very little in comparison to the TM's. they would have to be armed with a helluvalotta special weapons to actually pack any real punch. i agree that in numbers, the IG would whack the SHIT out of the TM, especially with mech support... but man-for-man the Terran Marines would wipe the floor with the Imperial Guard.
