"His hair? WACK! His suit? WACK! His adamantium claws? WACK! His foot stance? WACK! The way that he says Bub? WACK! The way he doesn't even like to smile? WACK!" --Sabretooth, probably
Sabretooth has such a hate-boner for Wolverine that he followed him into X-Men vs Street Fighter. That's dedication right there. Jokes aside, good video as always. It's short but sweet. Would you like to see him come back in a future MvC?
His voice actor also portrayed Mok Swagger in the animated movie Rock N Rule. And since he's the father of Cree Summer guess you can say Sabretooth is the father of She Hulk then.
Wow, I legit had no idea Sabertooth was originally designed as an Iron Fist villain. It's totally wild how comic characters can take a life of their own like that! And his classic voice actor being the father of Kree Sunmer is wild. She's one of the most legendary voices of all time! Side note, but it is funny to me that, despite being a top-tier character in MvC2, I feel like Sentinel is one of the most susceptible to infinities and other assorted bs out of just about the whole roster xD
"Birdie! clean up this mess!" "I'm on break boss" I personally don't have much to say on Sabretooth, I think he's a neat character, but I haven't really seen him much in anything, and I haven't unlocked him in MVC2 yet. There are two things I want to mention though, 1, in Divekick, Johnny Gat's Kick factor is having one of his allies, (I've never played Saints Row, nor do I care to) come in and use the dubstep gun, and it looks an awful lot like a reference to Birdie in this series, and 2, I'm fairly certain I remember reading in the MVC complete works that they actually wanted to use Sabretooth's car in his moveset, but didn't because I think Marvel didn't want them too, for whatever reason.
Sabertooth's Voice actor is the father of Cree Summer. Cree.... Victor CREEd...Sabertooth name reveal February 1992 Xmen Cartoon first aired October 1992... I got the pieces of a puzzle here, I just haven't put them together!
Who else is here after that banger anouncement????!!!! In all seriousness, I really hope and pray that this series, as well as your channel in general gets a huge boost now. Your passion and knowledge for this series is seriously underrated and more people should definitely check it out!
Always thought the Birde assist was funny because you're calling Sabretooth to assist only to have him then call Birdie to assist. it's like, "I don't have time for this, you handle it."
His throws: -Ground Throw: Grabs his opponents head and repeatedly slams them face-first into the ground. -Aerial Throw: Grabs his opponent’s face and slams them into the ground head-first.
I always wanted to know about Birdie after seeing her for the first time in X-Men vs. Street Fighter. I always found it wierd she didn’t even make any appearance in the X-Men Animated series. I felt bad for Birdie knowing she had to deal with an evil abusive bastard like Sabertooth and that she didn’t even survive after the mini series cuz of his just as much an evil bastard son Graydon. I was happy finding out that Birdie was resurrected in the Krakoa era, joined Nightcrawler’s X-Men Legionaries Team and is being a good person with a better life. A beautiful lovely lady like her deserves a good life.
Sabretooth! He's my favourite villain in...basically anything. So I'm really excited to see this video. I think Capcom did an amazing job with some of his sprites, I especially like him rocking up to fight in that fancy suit!
I've seen some people suggest it might be Lenore Zann (Rogue's VA), but I couldn't find a definitive source, so I left it out of the video so as not to spread misinformation. It wouldn't shock me if that were the case, though.
Don Francks did a few more Marvel Roles as he also played Kalek of the Kree Empire( Silver Surfer) as well as Shaman and Puck from Alpha Flight in Xmen animated series.
It's so rare that I get put on to fun facts from fighters and comics that I didn't know about. His voice actor's relation to who his daughter is, is something I did not know about. I appreciate your and Thorgi's vids because of the research and true fandom. Keep up the awesome work.
Oh yeah best of sabretooth is cool villain from X-men series most badass What if capcom big team match up hype up MVC4 Ryu and Wolverine rival Sagat and Sabrtooth excellent idea!
Saul Creed (Sabretooth's brother) wasn't added to the Sabretooth/Wolverine storied rivalry until like the 2010's. I always thought adding him felt unnecessary.
I do enjoy this format. Marvel Vs. Capcom breakdown paired with some comic ponderings. The voice actor really fits the voice of the grimy Victor Creed quite perfectly.
Today Capcom announced the Marvel Vs. Capcom Legacy Collection and while it’s a generic compilation game it might be a sign of a new Marvel vs. Capcom game coming.
this guy was always one of my dad's go to's on mvc 2 when i was a kid, he would use sabertooth and i would use wolverine, neither of us really knew how awful those characters were in that game or how bad the ps2 version was but it was still really fun
In the story arc with the new Weapon X. He runs into gang members, they want to take his coat, and he compares them to hyenas. After saying “I’m king of the freaking jungle!!” After he rips them all apart he says, “They don’t make street gangs like they used to.”
Im generally not a fan of superhero movies due to how artistic hollow they are but I was wondering are the Hugh Jackman X-Men movies good particularly the first one from 2000 and Logan (2017).
@@TheSeventhForce Logan (2017) I would definitely want to see especially after hearing acclaimed film director Del Toro recommend it on a Letterboxd list. Regarding my thoughts on superhero movies you may be surprise to hear this but I actually don’t hate superhero movies but I definitely don’t respect especially after experience superhero fatigue and hearing what Scorsese said about them because not to come off as pretentious but to me when it comes to the movie art from I want to watch movies that teaches me about world around me and leaves me thinking about what I learned from that experience but we do need some good dumb fun movies here and there but my problem with superhero movies (an modern blockbusters in general) is how for the past couple of years they have always dominated most movie theaters which sucks because I would love to go to movie theaters more often but sadly most movies that air in movie theaters are mostly corporate blockbuster with smaller films either not showing in theaters or just getting pushed to streaming services which kind of hinders its chance of being successful.
I think the Wolverine solo movies go through whatever the opposite of sequel decay is. Origins is pretty thrash. You know filling out the Mysterious Past for your character is a pretty tall order but they blew it. Several iconic characters from the franchise that hadn't been in movies yet make infuriating cameos. The Wolverine (was that what it was called God what a stupid naming scheme this sub franchise has) was good action but the story is still kind of a jumble. They try for a conceit that Wolverine could die and has Not-Typhoid-Mary from Elektra(2005) because they didn't have the rights to that anymore. See back in the day studios would go bankrupt before doing a crossover. Logan is pretty good. I didn't exactly watch it in IMAX uninterrupted but what I saw was pretty good. I think too good to spoil anything but seemed good.
@@BATCHARRO I wouldn’t know anything about the X-Men movies due to my lack of interest in most Superhero movies I just wanted to watch Logan because Gullimero Del Toro recommend that movie on his twitter account and compared to most other superhero movies where they fell corporate and controlled Logan looks like it have some artistic merit.
Not only do we need another TRUE Marvel vs game but today's Victor Creed which means Adamantium which ENHANCES his Healing Factor & everything else!😎💣🔥💯📠
