Sacha Molodskikh from Le Parfum makes for us his twist on a classic cocktail, the Ti Punch For the full interview and recipe go to: lecocktailconnoisseur.com/2017...
This is why the drink is $30. I can't imagine he does this every time the drink is ordered. I mean it's impressive but damn he's working hard for this punch.
@sashamolodskikh9496 I think you misread my compliment. I said it had to be more than $30 because of the work that went into it. It's obviously hard work. I did think about it, and I appreciated it.
how dare this guy call this cocktail a Ti Punch... Should be one of the simplest "cocktails" to make with 3 ingredients... I don't care how pretty this is or how delicious it tasted, this just isnt a ti punch!
Are you serious man? It obviously follows the principle of the Ti Punch (rhum agricole, lime, sugar, ice/dilution), but done in an incredible way. Ever heard of a twist on a classic? There's literally like 8 cocktails, everything else is a twist on those bases. If all we ever did was follow the 1rst recipe of the 1rst guy that made a drink, we'd become the most boring industry on the planet. Open your eyes, appreciate the creativity, respect the craft. It's commonplace in any decent bars nowadays to have their version of a Martini, Negroni, Bloody Mary, etc. Guess you don't leave the house much.
