Sachin made mistake by calling Meena Kumari as "Aurat" If he loves Urdu he would have called her 'Hasti', Shakshiat, ya fir Ma'dam kahna chahiye tha.

I like Atiqa but she needs to stop interrupting the guests. The constant “accha” “hmm” “kiya Baat hai” aren’t really needed. She should listen to what the guests say

A lot of people are objecting to Sachin refering Meenaji as aurat? Bhai aurat mein kya kharabi hai? I think it's a beautiful tribute!

जब लोग हिन्दी बोलनेे का प्रयास करते हैं, तब कहा जाता है कि हिन्दी कोई नहीं बोलता, संस्कृत शब्द कोई नहीं बोलता सामान्य जीवन में , हिन्दुस्तानी सब बोलते हैं, उसके बाद, स्वयं अधिक से अधिक फारसी और अरबी युक्त उर्दू बोलते हैं। वाह भाई। 🙄

Superb Sachin. A great talent. Only child actor, who survived after being adult. Who can forget Geet Gaata Chal, Balika Badhu, Akhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se, Sholay, Nadiya Ke Paar, Satte Pe Satta and Avtaar?

Many comments I have seen objecting to calling Meena Kumari as "Aurat". I think Sachin never could call intentionally her as "Aurat" but unknowingly he might have called her like that. He is very simple and humble with NO Ego. He never claimed that he is master in Urdu and still accepts that he is ever willing to learn and will learn till his last, so guys please do not just criticize him, instead you can suggest that instead of using this word you can use these.... words which will be much better. Urdu is so rich language that a Urdu speaking person can never insult other person, so please whatever you want Sachin to get corrected the same can also be told in a much more better way. I am sure if Sachin is brought to his notice on this mistake he will surely correct it and also take care of it in future. It is only a human being who makes mistakes as he is not a god.

Myself a Marathi Manoos but live in Delhi since birth. I know Marathi very well and also can make out if the person speaking in Hindi/English is a Marathi person or not from his style and pronunciations. I have watched almost all of his films since my childhood and I am also almost the same age as of Sachin. Only during this programme I came to know of his one of many qualities like proficiency in Urdu and his perfect pronunciation in Hindi/Punjabi/Urdu/Bhojpuri. A big Salute to Sachin Pilgaonkar. My best wishes that he grows more and more in further development of his personality.
