Elijah, Thank you for sharing your experience at Job Corps. I think you did a great job of keeping it real but also explaining the benefits of having a structured place that helps get you in the right mindset for training toward a better future. I am a Job Corps admissions counselor in Montana and will share your video with my students. :0) Hope you are doing well and GREAT JOB going into the medical field at this time in the world! You are a great example of what one can accomplish if willing to make the most out of opportunities in life.
Dude I got you an I will make more vids soon !! Just if anything I can tell you is to just take it seriously. The rules might be dumb as fuck but you can always find ways to have fun an I’m sure you will meet cool people but really it’s a short part of your life and then after you actually have a career to better yourself and your future. I was hard headed an I’m 26 I’m not stupid but iv made really dumb decisions. Make us an your self all proud when you go I hope I hear you graduated in a year or so!!!
I plan on going here soon. I had applied and I’m worried, but this is the closets thing. Im struggling in collage and getting work, so this is my option after dropping up in collage. Thankyou for this great video !!
I want to go to Job cops just to receive my high school diploma as well then leave, but do you have to study a trade while getting the GED?? bc they don't offer any trades that interest me..
@@esclaudia0045 Thank you, and Actually I want get get a construction trade now😂, but I want to be a Construction safety officer idk if they have a trade for that💀. I was supposed to been received a call from JobCorps, but they failed to do so. Honestly I’m just waiting on them.
Ok so sorry wow I haven’t logged in in a while I’m so sorry I had no idea a lot of you would be interested!!! Please let me know what type of videos you would like to know about it !!
@@leonelijah4157 A video on how classes are, I know you mentioned what time classes start and end, but a video centered around classes would be helpful. How it is to learn in the classroom, how helpful the teachers are, timing of classes, how often (if at all) do you learn out in the field, etc. Great video, I will be attending Job Corps soon and found this very helpful on generally what to expect. Thanks!
