Something similar might happen when the Museum of Railroad Technology opens in Sacramento. It will be located in what use to be the old Southern Pacific rail yards and will be part of the CSRM. Expect a big party for that one. :D
@HaloCE14 Of course! They'd never STOP the tradition. Its just a question of when. I don't know that. When ever the new parts of the museum( Sacramento locomotive works) are finished, then they'll raise funds for the next Railfair.

The real General hasn't run since 1963. I saw it in Gettysburg for the Centenniel. However, the B&O Train Museum in Baltimore still runs #25, the William Mason, once a year. Check my vids to see it!
Relax it was n the fourth of july and i made Freinds with her "Offcial"Driver and asssnt,Not to mention i regetierd for the NSRM a year ago so i got to do a few things the public couldnt,but she was stationary and didnt move they were shutten her down because they werent runnin her on that day but he allowed me to open the throttle a little bit and blow the whistle,I gave the whislt a short blast,second i sawe the huge jets of steam from the cylinder cocks,I wont never forget that day.:)
