And if he is now the head of that family his name would be placed on the Kisei(*since 1986 I think non Japanese men can be put on their wifes father's Koseki as well). Which would mean that he would have taken his Japanese wife's family name. Whatever prefecture and city his wife's family is from all they need is to have their 印鑑i(inkan) and around 1000 yen to get it.
Antony, look at Aiki-jūjutsu, pay attention to the dates of its creation and when Ninja were around; there may be connection. A connected as in; what Martial Artists would be interested in (Not the fake Taijutsu of Masaaki Hatsumi); a possible fighting art used by the Ninja. We both research history yours is toward Ninja of Japan where as mine is toward the Hwarang of Korea both of which, I believe are connected (China). However; it seems you are becoming more about money and selling books then seeking truth anymore, but that's just my observation. 1banryukyu Hello Banryukyu The Hwarang of Korea existed long before the Ninja, They were kind of like the elite guards or knights of the Korean empire.The truth is the Ninja that everyone seeks are in fact Chinese not Japanese though the name "Ninja" is Japanese. So as far Korean "Ninja" there isn't any however if what you are asking is what are the"Ninja" type of characters from Korea then the answer that I have found to fit and make the most sense would be the Hwarang warriors. Keep in mind though; that throughout the history of Korea there have been many others.
