In Roman and Renaissance architectural theory geometry represented the building blocks of the cosmos, with the Platonic solids being linked to music, numbers, and forms of the universe. Geometric transformations were accomplished using musical harmonic scales, number ratios, and divine proportions. Sacred geometry in architecture represented the microcosm, while the universe of god represented the macrocosm.

Isn't the Octahedron the Center of the 5 Platonic Bodies, and the other one's are mirroring each other. ;-) Thank you. Love it. Natural Creation and Sacred Geometry, Beautiful Souls ... ❤️🙏😇 Each Platonic Body Angle as a Sum is having the "Sum of digits" = 9. Number "9" means ~ "All or Nothing" ~ is possible as "Potential" inherently!? Cosmic Logic ~ of the Divine Number "9" ...

Churches, mosques, Egyptian pyramids, and Greek and Roman Temples all use sacred geometry. You can't understand historical architecture without it.

I am an Architect myself and a practicing Muslim and never in my life have I heard of a mosque using a sacred geometry. It simply doesn't exist. Never. Geometry in mosques are purely design.

I remember when i took the licensure exam, there were too many old and new buildings and places of worship around the world that i had to study, mosques included and the questions about mosques were wrong, even the answers were wrong. I wonder who and how they came up with such questions and answers.
