He was a pretty dope character in 2nd and 3rd game. After those they slowly made him some weird freak with a high pitched voice. I hate how they murdered my boy. Same goes for many other characters. Cao Ren was an interesting character too at release. Now he is just a literal tank with no personality.
@@cethxceth4751 I did. You apparently are too blind. Why else would I of corrected you? Cao Cao fled to Chengdu, took over Yi, and formed an army there. You play DW3XL.
First time I heard this amazing soundtrack was when I played the DW 5 XL Xtreme Mode. I immediately loved it, especially the rhythm is very suitable and perfect to be used to fight to the death! (Xtreme Mode does not provide additional lives). Finally after searching maybe 10+ years, I found it! Best soundtrack on DW in my opinion!
@@PlutonianPrince err ... actually I've played DW 4 and 3, but I didn't 'go too far' in both games, just getting to know the default characters, with the addition The Mighty Lu Bu of course. It was only when I became a big fan of the DW 5 and DW XL 5, then I traveled here and there, and got to know more and more areas and other characters, including being interested in the original history.
@@naomei938 3 and 4 were the best of the series. 5 was good but was starting to go into the “I’m invincible and am the only one that matters” theme. The games are dated now but if you want to feel like a character that can make a difference in battles where everyone FEELS like they matter (meaning your Allie’s and troop counts) then consider buying 3 and 4 and trying them out on PS2 or an emulator. 4 is objectively the better game overall however 3’s music is my favorite and some of the battles in it are just simply more epic. 4 is a more complete game. Like I said I enjoyed 5 but it wasn’t quite as good although 5 empires was fun. When I got 6 I realized the series was going into a direction I no longer cared about and outside of playing a friend’s games I haven’t touched any of the newer ones since.
@@klassicjammer7322 I disagree. 5 empires actually is difficult even on normal. Chaos even with a max weapon can be very hard. It has a good challenge to it 5 itself can be pretty hard.
"Cao Cao, so, our time has finally come! Today, we shall decide this once, and for all!" -Yuan Shao of Song (I'd assume he'd call his kingdom Song or Ji) at the Wuzhang Plains fighting Cao Cao of Cao Shu (he took over Shu in this timeline)
