Right. It's actually harder to be restrained and self-restrictive to release a short album. Everybody can make long albums. Early Van Halen. Kick ass to the point.
@@norman9291 Yeah. I like them. I own several albums. Re: Reign In Blood: I have an ambivalent relationship with it. I think the title track and Angel of Death belong to best the genre has to offer, but I don't really like the rest of the album and therefor I think it's a little overrated. But if proves: You only need 1 or 2 outstanding songs to create a genre defining classic.
@@stinky_nut_blast Fair enough. To be honest that's the only Slayer album I really relate to because it brings back a lot of good memories. You sound like somebody that's around my age. And by the way my favorite VH album is Women and children first.
Whomever it was that 'liked' my commentary, thank you, although in the end, I personally, think we should thank the band, Sacred Reich, for what they did. Cheers.
@@purebloodheretic4682 found the bitch that has to state his opinion on politics even when the video is not related to the subject whatsoever. I ask you kindly to fuck off in hell because nobody gives a shit
Timeless album!!! I literally felt like a kid again in my room jamming The American Way, Surf and Independent full blast trying to learn the riffs on guitar. The shred on this album is stellar! Great work. Salvation is awesome!!!
These guys have been here forever and they rocked the world over the world Before Slipknot was even there.....sacredreich .. was there in there in the Beginning of all eighties metal And beyond them.. God bless SACRED

Except from a few bands that keep metal alive nowdays unfortunately metal music slowly fading through time. Thank god that these old school bands keep the spirit alive. Excellent work from this American thrash band!👍👌
Thanks Metalblade! And thanks Mr. Slagel! Sacred Reich are one of the greatest bands to come out of Arizona. AZ bands don’t get much recognition or signed by labels.
I saw them back in 1990 with support band Atrophy in Belgrade, Serbia. There was no cell phones and we did that what crowd do. Jumping from stage and stir or welter with each other.
I am digging this. "Killing Machine" is my fave so far. They have a different sound on this album to my ears than i have ever heard them. With hints of the 1st album chucked in so far.
Discrete album (I expected more to be honest) IMO Awakening is more a traditional metal album in jamming mode, Phil is singing more relaxed and some riffs reminded me Black Sabbath & KISS (DIVIDE & CONQUER CHORUS specially). Favorite track.... REVOLUTION!!!!!!!!!!!!! That song smokes thrash metal and ye old Sacred Reich!!!!!. And it's great to see them back
If you like this, you owe it to yourself to check out "Independennt" or " The American Way." Not only are Sacred Reich one of the tightest groove machines out there, their lyrics are on fucking point.
Knallt...rockt und macht ne Menge Spass!!! Tolles Album welches ich in meinem gesetzten Alter gerne hörer...habe die Jungs nie live erleben dürfen...SCHADE!!!
haven't had this much fun listening to good old fashioned heavy metal since dee snider's for the lvoe of metal dropped. still remember blasting that record in my car for the better part of 5 months straight.
Seen em play Dublin, Dec 2019. An ex's son's band Psykosis played support. Seeing Sacred Reich again next month. Been a fan since the 80s and they always rock!!
