Lord Terminus The comments are one year old but I have to write something on this topic :D Sacred is really one of the best rpgs ever! In 2004 I bought this game and I'm still playing my wood elf and vampiress. Good to know there are other sacred and sacred underworld-freaks out there :D So bad the online-servers doesnt work anymore! But the singleplayer is also great :) I love sacred, never gets old to me :D
My childhood is surrounded with Diablo 2, warcraft 3, doom 2, half-life 2 but in the end, i still remember this game the most, that why i am here :). Going to play it tonight, yeahhhhhhh
I dont understand why they try to make Sacred 3... its not working, they just don't get why Sacred 1 was so good, the mistery, the secrets, the monsters, the items, the simple rules and the plot...
I used to play the old sacred (before Underworld was released… :P ) And got Underword to see what had changed… I don't like the idesa of the dwarf since he's the only "steampunk" caracter in the whole setting… but ok… Near Fairys Crossing you have to find an antidote for the poisoned well in a cave near the graveyard. On the way back, walk along the forest. You'll find a hidden path (just like the one shown in the video) and after a few steps some kind of cave. Go down there and find some boxes in an labyrinth formation… It took me a few hour until I recognized I just played Pacman… between teh boxex you can crush yellow bubbles wich will gif you experience points and blue ghosts hunt you. But of course, the ghost kill you one hit and you can't beat them… it's fun, but you should really be carefull. Ah, and near Mascarell, on the other side of the river near the villa (you can reach it with phase shift or from Porto Draco…) you'll find a bridge and a loooooong way along the riverside. At the End, you'll find the dragon of Tyr Fasul. It has nothing to do with a quest and I found him for the first time after playing the game 5 times so… And you find a dragon located on an island south of the barony De Mordrey. You can reach this point by a portal in the caves under crowsrock castle. Just go up the castle until you reach de Mordrey, and then go a bit farther until you find the cave. At the end, you have to kill the magician and then the portal opens :) have fun! And by the way… My map shows a little village located near silver creek, but i seems to be an island in the middle of the lake. Has someone experienced how to get there? I already saw a few parts from the other side, but never got there…
Maybe I'm a bit late but... That island is Haven Isle, the place where multiplayer sessions start. It's just a couple merchants and a bunch of one-way portals to every region of Ancaria and Underworld.
I was curious about the island. You can get there by the path down under it, from the Gladiator arena down from the fishermen and left from the robber groups. Then you need to phase shift in a close spot on a small islan that, interestingly, tends to spawn an enemy. Then find a close edge to shift to the island. You can portal from it to Belleuve one-way iirc.
This is the best role game ever for me, it's like the enemy of Diablo. I played it since I was 6 and it's got an epic setting. Every kind of hill or mountain remembered me Sacred

Yo, question to all the Sacred 1 fans and pros... At how many Runes that the player Reads/Consumes, before it causes all Greens (and Runes) to stop dropping? None of the old Forum posts really cover this topic it seems...
you need to be a dwarf to get those (there is an easter egg near the starterpoint of the dark elf, just south of the cave exit you can find a crashed helikopter, you can find awesome loot there)
I played the regular sacred and found a pacman-easter-egg near Florentina. (I played the german version and don't know if this is the right name of this village) But how did you get a dwarf as a charakter? I thought dwarfs died out.
Being honest, I didnt like sacred 1 much : s but sacred 2 was one of the best hack n slash that I have played and im waiting so hard to sacred 3 atm :)
I can`t say how many times I played Sacred.... Hm... today, yesterday, maybe the last 10 years.... xD But I know Mal-Ork-A and i play the most of the time Sacred without Underworld =D
Wow, Sacred looked this awesome? How the hell did they manage to screw the second game up so much? Its design is horrible, whereas this one looks great!

In Sacred Underworld is is more likely to get the Icons set from level 1-10. After that it is almost impossible. Although, there is a website, all you need to do is just to type "Sacred Underworld Icons set" and there will be a website that does not only contain save games for the Icons set but for anything else (set, characters etc.)
