They should have called in for a complete Partition of India with complete population transfers. Just like Bengal and Punjab all provinces of undivided India should have been divided as per the % of minorities eg 15% of UP and Bihar were Muslim hence 15% of these provincrs should have been given to them etc

As a Kashmiri I wish muslims had followed Maulana Azad. After listening to his full 30min speech after partition at jama masjid I have no doubt that Muslim league mislead muslims. Their cowardly decision to run away in tough times and leaving others behind in tough times only created disunity. Maulana Azad nay sahi kaha tha ki yeh Muslim league ke leaders British ke woh pasandedah log hain jin main khidmat-e-khalk aur kurbani ka kabhi koi jazba nahi tha.

Muslims would have only accounted for 30% of undivided India’s population against 65% Hindus meaning that Hindu nationalist parties like BJP would have still formed the govt. indeed Pakistan and Bangladesh have dumped the Indian Muslims by sealing their borders on them and preferring their linguistic and ethnic divisions. However in a united india even the remaining 70% of Muslims who are now in Bangladesh and Pakistan would have to suffer atleast at the federal level. Even today whatever the Indian Muslims have to face (cow vigilante attacks, love jihad allegations, hijab ban, mob lynching Etc) have nothing to do with the creation of Pakistan. Animosity between Hindus and Muslims predates Pakistan and Pakistan was an outcome of that not the cause of it. Muslim rulers are portrayed as blood thirsty invaders (despite the fact that overwhelming majority of them made india their permanent home and enriched its culture) . This narrative would have continued in a united india and the fear of Muslim domination would have been created . If a successful narrative of Hindu khatray mein hai can be created when Muslim population is just being 14% in todays india , just imagine how east would have been to create this fear when Muslims would have been 30%. One small event like babri masjid could have plunged entire undivided India into a civil war mode. Ideally instead of one Pakistan multiple counties for Muslims in india should have Ben created and jus like Bengal and Punjab , other provinces of india should have been divided as well eg 25% of Sindh should have been given to the Hindus , 15% of UP Bihar Etc should have been earmarked for Muslims and so on so that a complete population transfers could have been assured and Hindu Muslim divide could have been addressed once and for all
Try explaining this to a Pakistani and trust me I have tried, they don't get it. It doesn't even occur to them. Everytime something happens to a Muslim in India, very smart Pakistanis will say stuff like "Jinnah was right".

Congress , Muslim league and Hindu mahasbha was equally responsible for partition of British India . Nationalist Muslim Maulana azad, Abdul gaffar khan, Malik khizar hayat tiwana , Allah baksh soomro, allama mashriqi opposed partition. Jinnah two nation theory was totally wrong. Still today we Indian Muslim live peacefully and happily in India . Nehru, Patel, Jinnah, Krishna menon and Mountbatten was main culprits who done partition of India. Without sindh and Punjab India is incomplete.

@@seekingluck7893 Dear brother partition of India was not the solution. If Pakistan was not created then the Muslim position in Indian subcontinent is never became weak. Partition was imposed on us by the Britishers and greedy leaders of Congress like Sardar Patel , Nehru , Rajgopalachariar and league leader M.A. Jinnah and Nawabzada liaquat Ali Khan .

@@seekingluck7893 Remember my points Jinnah was 100 percent totally wrong. Abul kalam azad and his vision of United India was totally correct. Muslim of subcontinent biggest mistake was that he does not listen to the predictions and ideas of Azad and Bacha khan. Muslim of India voted to AIML in 1946 provincial election to attained some political position and power in India not to partitioned it. He was not aware that Bengal and Punjab the two hands of India was partitioned in few year. Only 10 to 12 percent people have right to vote in provincial assemblies and these required education, money, government services etc. The only elite Muslim want a separate nation to retain his political and economical positions stronger .

What changes do they need to adapt? They have already given up on Urdu and adopted Hindi in UP Delhi Bihar MP etc. Most of their culture and language is gone now (only Hyderabad and Karnataka Muslims are holding to Urdu). If by success ubkean giving up your culture then sorry we Pak are better then you esp us who migrated to Pakistan and can proukdt speak Urdu and hold on to our religion and culture

Isliye Shariat state ya koi bhi religious state, kabhi bhi lazmi nahi hain. Secularism hi sahi hain.
