Sacrifices to the gods? The early medieval treasure find of Springendal, Netherlands 

In May 2019, amateur archaeologists found a considerable quantity of gold and silver coins and jewellery with their metal detector in the Springendal nature reserve near Hezingen (municipality of Tubbergen, Twente). Further investigations and excavation at the site led to the discovery of a sacrificial site. The video 'Sacrifices to the gods?
