Being an orphan myself, made me really mad at myself and at my parents. Then I finally realized they let me go for love. They wanted me to have the best life. I still appreciate it to this day.

I love this adoption story. It's very true how people adopted children for their own gain and sometimes miss treat them by giving their child more love than what the adoption child needs. Keep up the good work in giving us real-life stories.

The thing that's even worse is that it's not Travis that's the brat it's his mom, its heartbreaking how lowly she thinks of Rayna, no-one deserves to be treated that way

I'm adopted, thank God I had Wonderful loving parents. When people made fun of me being adopted I told them my parents choose me. That shut them right up. Actually I never hated my mom for giving me up. She made it possible for me to have opportunities I would probably not have had if she kept me being single.

Personally I've been adopted my entire life and I watched this at 1:30 am and was bawling out crying because I know how it feels to be adopted luckily I was adopted by a good family, also I was already crying at 1:27 Praise Jesus and have a blessed day. edit: I was put up for adoption because my birth mom didn't have the money because she already had over 3 kids

Trying to find your forever home, getting adopted, can be hard. You don't want to leave that person because you share a special bond with them for such a long time. I know this because I'm in foster care. I'm currently 17 years old, 1 year from aging out of foster care, and you know, no one wants teenager's. This video understands on what I feel, sadness, but also with happiness. There are a lot of kids in foster care right now, some possibly separated by the siblings. But sometimes, at the end, it always ends with a happy ending. But sometimes, only the parents who are looking for a young child, wants that young child, instead of the older sibiling. I just found this not right, but it's just reality. I always ask myself, "why doesn't anyone want to adopted me?" That question I ask myself everyday, will never be answered. If someone asks me what my 3 wishes would be, mine would be: Family, family, and family. Thank you Dhar Mann, the actors, and his crew for making these heartwarming videos. ❤💕❤💕

It's sad that the last "foster mom" was only in it for the money then acted like she cared to get her back.

36 years ago I gave my son up for adoption because I grew up in foster care. I was 17 when I gave birth. my own mother tried to kidnap my son, because she told me that I told her that I was going to give my son Jason to her to raise.. At that age of 17 and the way I was raised there was no way that i was going to give him to her. Anyway- I got an email about a year and a half ago with a phone # attached to it. Apparrently he wanted to find me. I was unaware that he was trying to find me. I made the call and sure enough it was the Adoption registry out of Alberta ,, So the social worker sent us ( jason and I ) questionaires to fill out asking us what we wanted to ask each other. If it wasn't for his wife giving him the adoption folder this would never have been possible.. I was about to give up because there was no chance that this was going to happen. The social worker got it all started and put us together.. So you see ever since the email that started it all, Jason and I have been emailing and texting since then.. He did say one thing to me that I will never forget , he told me that if I never gave him up for adoption that he wouldn;t be the man he is today..He thanked me for giving him up.... i know its a lot to read but that is my story and i wanted to share.. Anyone reading this and has similar story plz never give up on finding your children, mothers and keep the candle lit beacuse if it happed to me it will happen to you..

The last story was it for me. These things happen all the time in Foster Care, but this is the first time I ever heard someone admit what they need the money for out loud, and to the Social Worker at that. I mean the nerve of her to think that this behavior is okay. And the way her son looked at her for the way she talked to the little girl. I would've been disappointed in my Mom too. Great video.

The fact that Rayna was so upset that her mom left her, was so upsetting because all the mom did that adopted her was talk about how *“oH weLl gUeSs wHaT? SHe aInT cOmiN bAcK”* is horrible. No child deserves to go through this. And then, suddenly when her bio mother came back, then the mom wanted her to stay with her and Travis. Honestly, I feel bad for Travis too, he felt so bad but he knew he couldn’t do anything about it.

The second story tho... As soon as she said "no matter what happens we'll always be sisters ok?" The water works started coming😭💗
