Blaming the present government for the flood problem in Ghana is a huge mistake. Aside from being old, the problem involves everyone. Here are few suggessions: 1. Contracts for road construction must guarantee that roads and streets have drainage 2. Residents should be educated not to dump refuse into the already exhausted drainage tunnels 3. There should be proper zoning of the land. 4. By law, zoning must reserve places for streets, drainages, public parks, schools and church. 5. Ghana needs laws that prohibit house construction within streets and drainage zones. 6. Ghana must not elect people based on tribal lines or political persuasions. Ghana must elect capable politicians. God wants us to test all the spirits in order to know which one to choose. 7. No one can control the rains; not even the government. Besides, flood is a global catastrophe. But good planning, discipline, love for country, and true patriotic spirit is how the develop world remedy their flood problem.
Always absolving this present government from everything. Strange but sad. Why did we vote for change in 2016? Things are extremely worse now. Stop the excuses. Mtchew.
