The Trans-Atlantic slave trade history was part of Ghana education curriculum from 1960s 70s, 80s and the early 90s they took it out when the Europeans began to fund our education, they force the then NDC government led by President J J Rawlings to take history out of our curriculum and replaced it with social studies.i think we have revisit it and bring it back again.
Ghana is not the only place in Africa that had slave ports. Enslaved Africans were brought to the Americas and sometimes Europe from different parts of Africa. Ghanaians were not the only Africans who came to Jamaica. The first Africans who came to Jamaica were Angolans; they came via the Iberian Peninsula. Later people came from the Congo, Cameroon, Senegambia,Toga, Guinea Bissau, and many other parts of Africa. However, the larger portion came from Nigeria and Ghana. I personally believe that most of the Africans who came to Jamaican came from Nigeria. Go on the slave data base and check the shipments of enslaved people who to Jamaica, you will see that most of the people towards the end of slavery came from Nigeria. Notice, that most Jamaicans on RU-vid who take the DNA test have a higher percentage of Nigerian in their DNA. People, please do your research. A shipment of enslaved people coming from Madagascar to another country, the ship got shipwrecked near Jamaica, and they left all the people from Madagascar in Jamaica. So, Jamaicans are made up of various African groups. I deliberately leave out the other races for now. We are talking about Africa.

But today Ghana and many other AFRICANS countries are being control by those same people who enslaved our people the past. Africans still look up to EUROPEANS like they are gods, they forget EVERYTHING that the colonizers have done to their ancestors. Today the children of the EUROPEAN ancestors, who enslaved our foreparents, are repeating same atrocities to AFRICA and AFRICANS! When is GLOBAL ÁFRICA and AFRICANS going to stand in Solidarity and say ENOUGH is ENOUGH! The same image of white Jesús that was placed in the dungon at Cape Coast, is same blue eyed, blond hair image that Ghanian worship still worship today!! They loved their white Jesús. They don't know that "white image" was a fake image, and still is of YAHOUSHA( Jesús) This image was given for them to look upon on WHITE people as being SUPERIOR to blacks and most AFRICANS feed into the lies upon till this day!! Stop calling this a CASTLE, it should be called a DUNGON and NOT a Castle. WHY NOT RENAME the cities and town in their original AFRICAN names. That would be a start!!

Tearing this from the pages of history to leave a gapping black hole, to devour the truth, is just plain obtuse. Slavery allowed the west to live as kings, is an enabling truth. Burning the tapestry of records, and skewing the evidence, is simple not sane. Forgetting the sacrifices of our ancestors without a whisper of untold names; is to steal a part of history, ripping apart the Nation’s dignity, and raping our humanity. Is the same crime, for a second time, causing Ghosts Whispers. Please stop drawing conclusions, they use to teach slavery in schools in Ghana when I was growing up, so it's not like they have never done that. They may have stopped it but we use to learn that in school in the 60s, 70s, 80s, and the 90s. Ghana's educational system has changed a bit..........................
