2:09 No. It wasn't meant to be happen, since in the beginning of the cutscene the robo-voice said "patient sedated" but nothing was done to him, which clearly indicates that he wasn't sedated(which is more explicitly shown through mc's expression of fear).
I really love this game and I don’t understand why it’s hated, yeah it’s short and a little unbalanced in ways but the story and gameplay is really unique and enjoyable Completed the game 5 times with no regrets, I’ll probably complete it a 6th time before The Surge 2 releases lol 9/10 - good game 👍
I actually enjoyed playing it. I agree, there's some artificial difficulty, but still a pretty good game for a really small studio. (Also I support my local developers so yeah)
Yet when running past alot of shit that you are intended to take slow and steady. You just aggro every enemy in sight and once you get stuck in a dead end your fucked
The machine was supposed to sedate him but it didnt. Also, he didnt know what the rig installation would be. CREO just kinda throws it's workers in the chair and drills several holes into them. Also those scan doors can be opened later in the game.
Is anyone else feeling like Prod is biased against The Surge? He says that in Dark Souls the enemies don't take down half your health and sure, they don't...when you have good equipment later on, you can die multiple times in the tutorial of Dark Souls, in fact I DID die multiple times. He then complains how there are too many enemies in one room. Need I remind you of the demon infested hellscape of Izalith or the Capra Demon boss fight? Now I have been watching Prod for a while so I know that its possible he's just trolling or joking and I'm just being overly sensitive about a game I like.
The Surge games are harder at the start in my opinion. The first two bosses in the Surge 2 killed me more times than I would like to admit but past midgame I was destroying most enemies and bosses after I found the weapons armors and mods I liked
I feel, after reading most of the comments here, like the game is *somehow* making people take a very biased stand in either direction. There seem to be only two opinions, either you love it, or hate it. Don't really know how that happened but it seems to be a thing. I personally never played it, nor intent to play it, but also felt like the criticism brought up in the video seemed harsh. I remember my first time playing DS 1 and how I cursed at a lot of stuff being unfair, over exaggerated, slow and whatnot. So basically anything that Prod didn't like here.
My suggestions: - Good moded Skyrim - Batman Arkam City - Darksiders 2 (since darksiders 3 is coming) - DOOM 3 (I personaly love it, its a fun fast pase fps..., fun game and scares a lot in dark areas) - Witcher 3 (im sure it will be fun watching your decisions and reactions to everithing in that game) - Metro: Last Light (pure art) - Farcry primal was fun, a diferent kind of fps - Nier Automata Some sugestions... Thanks for your great work and for including your viewers in your content.
Might go back to this. My main complaint on release was janky hit boxes. When I died in this game it always felt unfair / bad luck unlike souls. Also they made some enemy types like the dog things way too tough for no reason. I think co op would have helped this game a lot.
It’s pretty funny how the people who say this game is garbage either haven’t played it or played it for 30 minutes trying to play it like dark Souls and gave up because they didn’t want to learn the mechanics
What really activates my almonds about The Surge is that you can SEE the signs of a great game (mechanics, show-don't-tell story, etc) buried in the mountain of bullshit that it became...
The Surge on later levels: "This robot does 90 % of your hp in damage regardless of armour and there's only a 0.5 second window in its rotation where it can be hurt. Now you get to fight it in the dark." The amount of bullshit in this game...
More games u ask... hmmm. i can only suggest to you the games, Prey and Hellblade: Senua's sacrifice. Both very different games but that have a good story behind them, beside being very original both of them. Short ones but good, look them up ;) Played both and love them. Since i didn't go with the DS:R train hype, hackers deleting my saves? nani? no thx... So im finishing some personal objectives in DS3 but thinking of giving Nioh a try. Here u go 3 good games very different from one another. Cheers m8 o/

Yo prod, after you kill five smelting machines you unlock the iron maus armor, take the five tokens you get to a vending machine surrounded by four to five enemies.
Marauder Shields yeah, maybe I need to play it again, but at first it seemed damn slow, and at the en it was too easy and too short. I have to say that the engine runs very smoothly and the impact of hits 'feels' heavy, which is. Maybe I just didn't like it that much as I played BB goty at the same time and that it's my fav souls game.
The game mechanics are awesome. It's smooth and fun. Too bad the rest of the game severly lacks content in every aspect. The maps are terrible, the ennemy variety is terrible and there's very few different weapons. You'll be fighting the same ennemy in the same kind of environment with the same kind of weapon. The game gets boring REALLY fast.
DEFYTHEGODS IV - Personally, and probably not the person ya wanna hear from, I love it. Just bought it this weekend past on steam and once ya get past that first bullshit boss on the boat and start to learn the mechanics, it's pretty awesome. Not really something you can compare to DS though. It has a similar 'fuck up, ya die' and 'learn by the mistakes' vibe, but that's it. Very much a Diablo style game but with more focused combat. Everything is rock, paper scissors in Nioh. I would put it on par with DS (insert fave here) but not the same as. To be clear, I hated it when I first tried the beta. But somehow now, after all this time it finally clicked and I love the arcade gameplay with the chess like strats.
Du wirst in Situationen kommen, in denen du total penetriert wirst. Backtracking und Schrott sammeln wird später noch wichtig. Deutsches Spiel, deutsche Schrift ;D
Its a hard game, you must upgrade your core and gear in the med bay to get stronger. This is not a forgiving game as dark souls let you have help but this is a solo game so no help will come.
