Sad Piano - Introvert 

Just because I'm better on my own Doesn't mean I want to be alone. I want to find love so I don't have to hurt. But it's hard when you're an introvert.

One way or another, we are all introverts. I feel like you making this compositions (“sociopath” “introvert” “depression” “Love” ) is a way to express what we all feel. What each and everyone of us goes through as a society. You are not just a musician, you are a story teller; a mirror into humanity’s soul incorporated into a person who can express who we are. Lucas King, really is the king. 🎼👍🏼

Is it weird that I don't hear any sadness or negativity in this particular piece? I mean, all I can picture is me (or someone) sitting near a window during a storm with a nice warm cup of tea, coffee, or hot cocoa watching the rain fall, just letting their thoughts wander as the time passes.

That just remembers me the loneliness I felt when I was in Tatooine...

Only an introvert would know how this music truly sound to them. Other's may hear it pleasing, relaxing, or maybe just normal or sad. The way I imagine this song, is like someone, something or I am, in a place where drops of rain is falling one by one... And the place seems a little dark... A little out of place... And all I can hear is the pouring rain... Gently... Calm... Relaxing... It's like how I feel... Peaceful, Loneliness, Solitude... This is how I feel. I simply do not know fun, I simply dislike irritating loud sounds, I simply hate running around, I simply hate doing things that aren't worth my time... And I simply like, the peacefulness, the quietness, the clarity of being joyed into simple things. I simply like being alone and still being loved❤

It's not easy being an introvert. There are times I think I can do the things better, and sometimes it really does. But when the things go wrong, I blame myself and keep being quiet. This song really represents this, when u don't know how to talk with people. Thank you, Lucas.

I like to be alone But only to recharge. And I still need something To recharge from. I like to be alone Because it fills up my energy. But still, I need something To put my energy into. Yes, I love being alone To have some rest From a beautiful day. But, you misunderstand. Yes, I like to be alone But nothing terrifies me more Than being lonely.

Sometimes we just want to crawl into our rooms and curl up into a ball of security, free from the outside world. The challenge is to UN-curl and walk back out of the room stronger than ever such that one does not trap themselves in an endless cycle of isolation. You can be introverted and still be you! I know tons of shy people (myself included) and they have the same issue socially.

As an introvert I relate so much to that picture and the song

As an introvert I am alone most of the time and that's fine. As long as I'm not lonely which is what I feel from this piece: the introvert who is lonely. It is truly a sad thing for an introvert to be lonely, I speak from experience. For me during that time I was very depressed and at times became suicidal. I still sometimes fall back on these tendencies during hard times but nothing as bad as it was. I also feel the picture as well on another level. I had a really good friend in school who I really liked and hung out with a lot and as the end of the school year drew near I knew I should/wanted to say something but due to my introverted tendencies I never did. Now I'll never see them again as I now live elsewhere. With that said, the way I interpret the picture is the robot has found love but it simply isn't programmed to, how to put it, express it? Show it? I can't seem to find the right word but I think my point is made... hopefully. As always, great work again.

A lot of you think that this isn't a sad theme, or that being an introvert isn't sad at all. I can tell you, as an introvert, I disagree. Yes, I am alone, I have a few great friends (internetfriends mainly), but that doesn't mean I want to be. Sometimes, I just want my class to accept me, because they don't. Sometimes, I wish people of my class would talk to me, but they don't. I want to have friends, but the ones I have don't even live nearby. And I have a lot of trouble at home. A lot of fights between me and my sister, between my mom and my sister. It's hard to live here. And I suffer from depression, I have borderline, I have dysthymic disorder, adhesion disorder, PDD NOS, and this music doesn't make me think of a really nice day, with a little bit of rain, with a warm cup of tea. It reminds me of my past, and how hard it is here at home. It reminds me of every negative thing I have experienced, and trust me, I have experienced a lot of bad things... more than you can ever imagine....

I also wanna point out the significance of the art used in the video. We see a small, not very technically advanced robot, Fragile and vulnerable. Holding his hand towards, or what some can interpret to be moving away. It seems to long for the whatever the symbol of which is on the T.V screen. Which what we know to be is love. Unable to fully grasp it because of our awkward robotic nature to recharge ourselves alone, like connected to cables an a wire. I think this perfectly reflects what an introvert feels towards our existence, and perceptions of life. And ourselves. Beautiful video all around.

Ah... Pretty hard to be introvert when we were child ! But, for my personal experience (yes, I was), we are an awesome imaginary and a great creativity, for compensate for the lack of relationships. And we become wonderful people ! Otherwise, nice music !

everyone is saying that being an introvert sad and lonely, but honestly it isn't. I love being alone, and the only hard part about that is that my dad doesn't understand that this is what I want, no matter how many times I tell him, he always thinks I'm lonely and that I want friends and want to talk to people, but the truth is; I don't. so the theme for introvert would be a lot different in my opinion (probably like a party/rock/swing song XD)

It's not sad actually, it's expressive and honest. I find strength, joy and peace in solitude but most important of all it's when I can think best and create. I am an introvert and love being one.

I love this world I just don't see a space for you to fit in it

I want to be alone the majority of time to my own. People drains me a lot and I always need my space and being here in silence listening to this music or doing something or thinking more interesting things than spending time with them. I don't know if it is a sad thing but people bores me and drains me, I don't want to talk to them, that's all.

This is a sad theme. Being an introvert isn't sad. Its bloody darn great. If being an introvert is sad for you, then maybe you haven't come to terms with your personality and crave something other than who you are.

I've personally always found happiness in what most consider the "sadness" of being an introvert. And that's what I hear in this piece. Happiness even when it seems lonely. Sometimes being alone for a while is healthy. You get to relax and concentrate on yourself.

I am an introvert. I prefer this kind of music. All instrumentals,cinematic,sad and dark piano music and classicals. I prefer to be alone. I dont trust that much. I can socialize but there is a limit. I usually stay home.

Isolation is not a way of living that we would like to have , but sometimes u have to take this painful decision to be introvert .. Within the days , months , and years , u will regret taking this decision , but u will find that there is no way to fix that .. or maybe there is , but would be so hard to restore urself again as u were before ..... Living as introvert is like burning ur body gradually ; part by part everyday .. the longer time u stay alone , the more pain u will feel later ... Sometimes , u will look at the world from ur mind window and start comparing urself with successful social people , like artists , actors , sport players , etc .. Then u will be shocked of urself ; u will live a panic attack .. or too many of it .. this kind of living is like drinking a slow-acting posion in ur tasty food .. In the first hours , u will feel so enjoyed , but later the poison effect will start appearing , and u will die so slowly in a way that u don't even feel how it happens .. u'll start watching movies and sitting in ur room all the day .. when a cousin come , u pay attention for not making any noise to prevent attracting his attention about ur existence .. u'll talk little and u'll eat more , u'll try to never argue with anyone , u'll stop going outside with ur family , and u'll prefer to stay alone with ur dark thoughts all the time .. when a story u follow ends , u'll feel that ur story ends too ; as u'll consider every beautiful story is urs cuz u don't actually have a story in ur life ... when u see them laugh , u'll get sad .. and when they come to ask u somth or advise u about somth , u'll get anger .. How could they be supposed to be ur family or friends if they don't feel in u deeply ! U will consider everyone a psychologist , and u expect from him to feel in u and to help u .... but THERE IS NO SINGLE RESCUE LIKE THAT ! To stop this dark cycle , u must rebuild urself again ; u must collect ur pieces and compose them correctly ! U must trust again in urself , and believe that u can change this condition ... As u keep trying , u will find the key of ur happiness , but that requires u to be patient and opptimistic , which will be harder as u stay introvert more and more ...

I couldn't feel any relation within this; but it.. Made my heart crumple; I don't now why but I felt it, I believe I am an Introvert. I don't like human contact in general, or humans. But I can't stand being lonely; being lone is just an isolation; something a being cannot have unless they are truly wishing to be such. Alone is just a solitary to yourself; your own palace you can speak to yourself. I think of this as a piece that I can just relate to. Lucas King; your music has truly been perfect for me. I believe as an introvert, people feel it too but they try to get rid of things like it. When Lucas king makes songs like "isolation" "Lost" "Depression" And so many more I can relate to the songs because of my childhood and what I'm going through now. Although these songs don't contain words or lyrics, the piano and instrument makes you feel and you can close you eyes and imagine yourself in that position, it's quite powerful and interesting.

When I listen to this song I feel something deep inside, clenching feeling in my chest, but not in a bad way. It seems that your song pulls some string I have never felt before. It makes me feel calm yet nostalgic, dreamy. The song understands me and I understand it too. Like my little soulmate. Not sad, only deep, very intense. Thank you for this piece

Introversion is not dark; merely the way some of us are. What is dark is the fear of going outside of oneself and associating with others.

How come every one of your pieces give me goosebumps and almost make me cry?

When you are driven towards an ideal solution of your own fabrication, regardless of how it measures up to reality. When you have a network of personal experience to draw on, in spite of the possibilities otherwise. When you feel right about something, without a care in the world about whether it works or not. When you are the most intelligent and self-consistent being in the room... facts matter more than feelings.

i listen to these pieces while i am studying, very relaxing, though my family think these pieces are irritating, but only a true introvert would undergo the blissful moment when they hear these pieces, and i am one of them

The saddest thing an introvert can have happen in their life, is when the extroverted people in their life, usually the most important, think you're selfish and leave them because the introverted like to be left alone. And I've dealt with this my whole life. I've lost so so many people I loved... I hate being an introvert.

This hits me on such a deep level that I want to play it 24/7 and just have the music surrounding me all the time.

Afraid of being hurt. Seeing people around me being used and abused leaves a bad taste. A taste so bitter. A taste so foul. Keeping myself behind a closed door. Refusing to let anyone in. I have learned to be alone. Sometimes though, I do feel lonley. I think maybe I can leave the isolation yet I remember the hurt. Then, I retreat back into the quiet world. Just me and my thoughts. Alone forever

Coming to a place in which the language wasn’t my first language I found myself isolated from everyone. Even though my English seems well now, I can’t stop isolating myself. It’s like I started drifting on a small raft, and then a wave came upon me and pushed me further away into a big empty sea. As I continue to paddle I find myself lost.

I don't know why am I crying. I mean, I was an introvert child but I thought I wasn't anymore. I guess this reminds me somehow my childhood

I'm afraid, afraid of what people would think of me, afraid that if they knew me for who I am they'd leave and cause me more pain than I already feel. So I just lock myself up in my home, slowly dying due to every fiber of my being desiring someone to be with. Yet my fear of interaction controls me and forces me back making me think no one could ever care about someone as broken as me.

I am a Scorpio. Which means I need to be alone sometimes to Recharge myself. A lot of us Scorpio's are Introverts.

I feel.... calm. There is comfort in solitude. My thoughts may be dark. I may get sad, on my own, but sometimes I just need to get away. Get away and dream about worlds I can get lost in, and leave everything behind, until everything's okay :)

I'm not someone that can make friends easily, it indescribable. I guess it's because I don't go to them but seeing them say that I'm an "Attention seeker" is really infuriating... it's breaking my self esteem and confidence. That's why I leave them alone and wait until they come to me.... no difference. I Have a cousin that moved in with me. We go to the same school that I go to. First few weeks, I'm happy that I'm able to talk to someone. Few weeks later, I feel as if a gap is spreading between me and my cousin. Right now, I lost my cousin to others. Maybe it's not being an introvert, maybe it's loneliness but then again... who do I go to when there's no one left? The answer... is myself. Personalities born from my own feelings and manifesting in the blank sheet of paper as I draw Anthropomorphic characters. Right now, I have three. One that came from the inner child/happiness, one that came from the feeling of adulthood and one that came from... depression. They all have unique designs... but then again... they're just pieces of me. In short, I'm living a life whose friends are a beautiful lie. What a sad story, isn't it?

Being an introvert myself, I can relate to both the music and the picture. Being introverted can be very hard at times, especially when your emotions are just swirling. I have about four real friends at my school. Everyone else ignores me, makes fun of me for being who I am, or laughs at everything I do since they think I'm an idiot. I'm quite smart and everything for my age and I exceed in most academic things, but everyone thinks the opposite. They think I'm just some short girl who can't be around people without eventually snapping. What they think is most definitely true. I'm short for my age and can't be around people for long periods of time without getting sick of them. That's why I tend to stay away from people. I've even pushed my friends away from trying to comfort me. I'm anxious about everything. I hate talking to people, and I get mild panic attacks at school if the smallest thing happens. A few days ago, I got one when the teacher called on me to read. Such a stupid thing to panic about. My friends think everything I do is the opposite. They think I'm friendly. I'm not. They think I'm happy. I'm not. They think I'm carefree. I'm not. They think there's nothing wrong with me. There is. They think I'm fearless. I'm scared of everything. Most important to me, they think I don't do anything to myself. I do. I've cut. (I did that a few hours ago.) I've hit my limbs on corners to scratch myself. I've hit my head into walls; not often. I wish I could live normally...

Is it werid I feel like this song is happy rather than sad? (Or maybe because I'm an introvert myself.. who knows)
