I remember Gerald Bull very well, when he was working for South Africa. He was most instrumental in developing the Towed G5 and self propelled G 6 both based on the GC 45. Excellent range capability.

@@tatumheartscrochet After watching this episode.I have to agree with you, it sounded like it was more about power and control over the Arab people. His huge ego and turning counties against each other with such knowledge and talent in technology was bound to lead him getting assassinated. He died before he got his extension 🤭

Do you think Israel and Iraq were friends, or any of these other countries were friends, before Gerald Bull came along and made this artillery? He turned zero countries against each other. Israel and Arabs already hated each other. China and Taiwan already hated each other. South Africa and Angola already were at war. Can you even locate any of these countries on a map? You sound like someone who knows nothing about anything, but smokes a lot of weed and "feels" like they have the answer.

@34:20 "And that gave these missiles the capability of reaching Israel" This is BS. He is conflating the modifications. He is confusing the projects. From Western Iraq to Tel Aviv is only 300 miles. You don't need to combine several SKUD missiles into one to make it 300 miles. The modified SKUD missiles that were later used to hit Israel were not the same project at the launch satellites into orbit missile project. In 1990 Iraq already had SKUD missiles modified to reach Israel. They used them to do so less than a year later.

I got the notification for this episode yesterday. I saw the name Saddam Hussein and thought I wouldn't be that interested "I was so wrong" I really enjoyed it and found it to be very interesting. Thank you from Australia ..🦘🇦🇺
