I DO NOT OWN ANY PRODUCTION IN natsume yuujinchou Go, i give all credits to Studio Shuka and to the rest of the owners, i just want everyone who watched this series to remember how truly beautiful this anime is.
One thing that I really love about Natsume Yuujinchou is how it handles loneliness. It’s nothing over the top, it’s not something that generally gives you strong ptsd, but it’s still this silent pain eating away at you, and it’s something many people will likely never truly recover from throughout the duration of their life. I grew up very lonely because of my anxiety disorder, and never really could find a place I feel like I belong, but Natsume Yuujinchou comforts me in that even though I feel alone, there are others out there experiencing the same things. And as I watch Natsume bit by bit making more connections and slowly feeling less alone, it warms my heart. Natsume Yuujinchou is my second favorite anime, after One Piece.
I had a similar experience watching Natsume Yuujinchou. I was going through so much loneliness due to family circumstances and this anime somehow gave me so much comfort even when it made me cry so much. This story has a very special place in my heart and for me is my absolute favorite anime.
I think the saddest scene in the series is when natsume tries to get home when his house was being sold. That episode made me cry nonstop. When he was suffering all that pain. I felt like I'd probably commit suicide if i was in his place. But im so so glad that he found a place he can call home. Coz home is that one place where u feel safe. DAMN IT HURTS. RIGHT IN MY KOKORO.
I agree. That is the scene that also made me cry. Like he has vague memories living there but he could no longer 'remember' what it was. That subtle feeling of sadness as he roams around the house trying to search something but could only see the traces left behind T_T
I cry every time I watch this, but also, Nyanko-sensei's heavy put upon sigh when he realizes Natsume can't tell apart what's youkai or not, and therefore just blew a secret he was so desperate to keep from Touko is hilarious. Like, "my miserable child, why?"
I just love how Touko and Shigeru have an idea that Natsume has a special constitution, but they don’t say anything because they know he’s trying to hide it, and they don’t think of him as strange in the slightest unlike his other relatives that took him in. They are such good people we don’t deserve them (tho Natsume does).
she knowssss i love touko so much ;w; the love and affection she shows and feels towards takashi are completely sincere and she understands that he has trouble opening up to people and waits patiently until he is ready. im glad takashi found such good people to look after him.
my favorite scence is when natsume gets hurt and ends up in the hospital of his school and all his friends come running in asking if hes okay, then later he goes home and cries asking "how can i repay this?" because hes never had such good friends who care and understand him and hes suprised they even showed up at all :(( hurts my heart but its such a sweet tender moment that really captures natumes lonliness.
@@_syzygy_ Not sure where the anime left off from the manga, but I start reading from Chapter 80. That's already a whole lot to take in @.@ The manga is newly updated until chapter 99 btw.
Occasionally, I come to this social platform and search my favourite anime,Natsume Yuujinchou, and I rarely see any videos about it. I'm glad people like you still make content like these, about my fav series. It really is heartwarming, it just heals your soul.
yes, this anime is just ahead of its time, and so heartwarming and wholesome. this anime is actually bery popular in japan but not so much outside of it. who knows, maybe one day thisll be popular enough again to have a seventh season or at least a movie:)
I feel at peace, and at the same time I feel nostalgic and want to cry... Natsume Yuujinchou is the only anime that makes me feel this way all the time, I really love it.
For me, the saddest part of Natsume Yuujinchou was when Natsume lost his sight for a few days and he couldnt see Nyanko-sensei, but sensei was just beside him. That scene was like the proof to me that Sensei truly does cherish Natsume and they have bond that cannot be explained by words. That scene still makes me cry whether it be in the manga or anime.
Dang now im crying again. I feel like the reason why Natsume, Touko and Shigure-san clicked when no other family who took Natsume in was because there was a deep sadness that only they could understand and see. It always amazes me the strength and love that those two couple have to endure days of being childless- and i love how subtle the treatment of that was throughout this episode. And of course Natsume who always felt like an outsider looking in not just because he can see spirits but also because he never understood what it means to have a family. T_T
plus, Shigeru at least is aware of Reiko's supernatural abilities. whether he believes her or not, it wasn't confirmed. but he was rather not weirded out by the rumors about Reiko
for me the saddest part or scene was when natsume went back to his hometown, then there is that youkai girl living in a tree, when she saw natsume, she hugged natsume so tight. that feeling is so powerful
I love how touko is understanding of natsume this anime will always be my number one i always prayed that bo had to go through what natsume went through but the way he turned out makes me proud of him for unknown reasons i have rewatched this over and over❤q
This is my 2nd fave episode from all the seasons!!! I am glad and really thankful for Touko & Shigeru, for how they love Takashi just like he's their own, actual, child. I am glad Takashi finally have his own place to call 'home' to. I always cried everytime I watch this epi😭😭😭😭
I'm here for Sachiko Onee--sama's VA from Marimite. I'm very glad her voice is still the same as before ( Warm, deep, sincere, and motherly ). I'm happy for Natsume that she had her as her mother and Shigeru-san as his father in the whole series, it makes me cry :'(
background scene graphics really different with others anime, and the beautiful background music such calm, storyline also good with a theme of 'Slice of Life' and combine with 'fantasy' every episode, with the beautiful opening and ending song. Yup, Natsume Yuujinchou still an underrated anime. ❤
The saddest part to me is that one episode which he lived with relative where there's this little girl who envied him because her parents were being nicer to him to a point where she yelled at her after an incident it would be better if he leaves, then natsume ran away leaving the house despite he had nowhere else to go 😢 it feels so relatable
