Saddick, the Australian case was unfortunate. I played the game and this is what happened. I was part of the Ghanaian team established here in Australia. I was initially not aware of the game. I was called to bring jerseys to the stadium because the deaf team did not bring one. I went to their dressing room and thought hmm, these guys are not players. Well the game started and it became obvious. We were down 8-nil first half. Ghanaians in the stadium were pissed. The secrete then came out and 5 of our players were asked to join the team for the second half because this was embarrassing. Well it was on the field that we, the 5 players start devising a plan by talking. The Aussies were also talking by hearing aid. The death guys then started to talk without any aid. Funny! We ended up losing 8-2 and the Aussies players complained that they were playing different type of players, meanwhile, we only made one change. Herr Ghana! This could have been a good opportunity for the real deaf guys. Australia was willing to help them. Some wanted to be friends and help us with hearing aid. I went to play with Ghana in mind, but will never do such a thing again.
