Yeah lots of people use the Kong incorrectly. That's why I use a CT rollnlock.

I like the idea of the figure 8 instead of a stopper knot. I'm going to use that with my Ropeman 1 for safety and also so it's not dangling in the way. Thanks for the tip.

Figure 8 is for the duck failing! Stopper knot should be tied on the tail tag of the figure 8 if u want the maximum fail safe

Thanks for that video. I've been practicing from my double trunk 🌳 in the yard & I have that long tail end on my Oplux tether & I 👍 the figure 8 on the end atfached 2 the carabiner. I also have an Oplux on my saddle 2 hook 2 the Oplux tether & I've liked everything about it but that long end on the tether. 😉

Just get a plastic ring loop a bit smaller than the Prusik knot, tie a 6-8" loop with para cord, girth hitch it to the plastic ring loop then untie your stopper knot, slide the ring loop on, hook into your carabiner and re tie you stopper knot.
