Just started listening to his story of Harper and Bran on the ranch. I am sure that there will be ups and downs as there have been one or two already. But now....at 1:05:06 its just too funny...so had to stop and share.
The author sounds like she has a little experience in ranch life. It's a fact the toll it takes on your body. You are never off the clock, more often then not you'll be covered in cow sh*t, horse sh*t, sheep sh*t or some other critters sh*t and if it ain't sh*t your showcasing it's some other equally desirable matter. Sure do wish men like these were around when & where I was ranching. The goats were hilarious, I laughed so hard I woke up my husband! 😂
Hilariously funny dialogue, smartly written characters, too frequent sexual description. Once the word lube is mentioned I find myself squirming uncomfortably in my chair.
This story was really interesting and written well... It's just... there was so much sex... so many explicit sex scenes I was fast forwarding about 40% of the book. I realize everybody might not feel the same way... it's just so hard to find a good romance novel writer/author - someone who can tell a story, make it interesting and make you fall in love with the characters... so, yeah... I stuck with this book. But dang - so much sex... and now - spoiler - the ending... it is so painfully drawn out. I'm not finishing the last 15 minutes - it just feels so stupid. I mean, spoiler, he tells her he loves her and she punishes him for it - then we have to suffer through 15 stupid minutes of what... the stupid set up for the grand gesture? smh... I really liked the beginning of this - but when all the sex started, there was seriously no story. And there just seemed to be no logic to any of the characters' actions after that point...
Love this book but it low key giving me body dysmorphia. Finally happy with my weight and then there is all this non inclusive language of the main character reading fat and calories content. If this was a drama book surrounding the idea of body dysmorphia I would be all there for that experience but in an erotic ebook about a beauty Queen ummm ma’am can you shit up about your weight
