So I bought one of these used for the back of my Kawasaki ZR 600. I didn’t have any instructions. So I attached to my seat the best that I could using the straps that were already there and had been used, but the pad slips around on the seat so badly that the bag you know moves six or 8 inches side to side. I experimented with rubber bands to lock the straps against the pad so it wouldn’t shift like this. Your video helped me see that I do not have some of these straps, but I found them in other pockets of the bag. So now I’m able to affix it properly. Makes it a little harder to unbuckle from the bike, but only a moment or two.
Can like a pair of riding / construction boots fit in this or the smaller size variant of this bag? I love it but that's my only concern (bike is a 2009 R6)
Thanks for this upload.. but I don’t know about it touching your lower back like that when you’re moving around in the seat for aggressive riding. Any feedback on that bro?
To be fair in this bag does not have a lot of room. You might be able to put one pair of boots in it. I’m able to put a sweater a windbreaker and a shirt fairly comfortably in the main compartment, including a very small lunch. But I have also carried a carburetor for 1300 Honda, carb cleaner, watch for that day, and two Powerade‘s. Again this was in the main compartment. The side compartments are very small. You could probably in separate compartments manage to put in socks undergarments toothpaste toothbrush, but not much else. A small laptop say a 13 or 15 inch might fit in the main compartment. I lugged my 17 inch MacBook Pro to a clients the other day but I had to use a cargo net because it hung out the back a few inches. So a cargo net may help you extend some of your capacity if you don’t necessarily need to close the lid of the main compartment.
