I don't know. One of those sayings. Something about missing the point of going to the beach. But there are very few occasions where I don't want music. Even when my mother passed, I listened to classical music for about a week (can't explain that either).

My favorite female singer...I eat, drink and sleep Sade...This is one of my top three songs by her, but I love all of her songs...And for me, this is one of the classiest videos ever....I saw her twice back in the day...She`s even better in concert than most.

Absolutely love Sade!!!❤ And really enjoyed ya'll's reaction and comments! Everything about Sade is a great vibe! It just hits different. Saw her in concert several years ago and John Legend opened for her. She was dancing barefoot on the stage. It was a beautiful and memorizing performance. If you haven't already, I'd love to see ya'll react to her song Pearls. It's very touching.

Sade caused a stir (in a good way) when she arrived on the music scene in the mid-eighties. She instantly was compared to Billie Holiday - which I think shouldn't really be a literal comparison - and had a style that spoke to young people and their parents, her music that was both on top 40 charts and R&B. She doesn't technically sound like Billie Holiday - but Sade has her own very unique sound that nobody else has and that is what Billie Holiday was so great at. Very few artists could pull off a cover a Sade song because it's SO uniquely her, and she writes music to fit her style. She's a vibe and she doesn't sing big, she's minimal and pulls the listener in - which is the other aspect that's absolutely like Holiday. Sade is the freaking all time QUEEN of sophistication. No other can even come close. It's also not surprising that she came to London from Nigeria to go to fashion school, because of course! Obviously she gave it up for music.

I ❤️❤️❤️ Sade!!! In '97 when i took my son to visit my sister in Maui, and one day I took my son to Baby Beach. There was no one else there but the two of us, then right before we left, Sade and her son came walking down. When I walked away, I looked at her and smiled at her. She has been one of my favorite since she came out! ❤️

This is the song my husband and I danced to for our “first dance” at our wedding. And we have “cherish the day” engraved on the inside of our wedding bands. It’s “our song” ❤ Sade is magnificent.

Sade beyond hypnotic, when she says ‘show me how deep love can be’, or movin the way that I do’, draws us in. Songs with ‘cherish’: Cherish, by Kool and the Gang, was a great hit for them in the 80’s along with tunes like Joanna & Emergency, the album that Cherish is from. Cherish, by Madonna, maybe my fav of Madonna, along with La Isla Bonita. Cherish, by The Association. Probably the 1st I can recall of a song using that word, real mello vibe with nice harmonies, from ‘60’s.

OK, totally random, but I get the feeling y'all went on vacation to Nola, and that's where you got those necklaces. They look way too similar, and the t-shirt feels like a hint. lol Started with BJ's, like "ooo, that's an interesting and unique necklace." Could be totally off on my detective skills. Got this awesome handmade ash tray last time I was there from an occult shop. Their souvenirs are on point. And yea, Sade is a whole vibe. Always been one of my favorite artists for this reason, ever since I was a kid bumpin' artists like Boyz II Men and MC Hammer (Sade stuck around much longer tho lol). Unfortunately, the guitar in the video was just for looks. She kills those vocals plenty well enough to be good without it tho. Also, it just looks good on her. :p
