Ha Ha. Seeing these troupies squaring the blanket seams brings back a memory. I was at Army Gym in Heidleberg in 68. One of our guys (from my city of Durban nogal) decided on one weekend to brush the centre panel of his outer blanket one way and the rest of the blanket the other way. Come Monday morning the PF instuctor's noticed how good it looked and yes, you guessed it. From that moment on we all had to do it for every inspection. Needless to say he was not very popular.

Man, I used to love to drill (march), I could do it all day long. I did the SL course in 92 at 1 Sai, it was the one & only year the SL troops beat the (if I remember correctly) jr mech leaders in the drill competion. It made our captain so proud that he allowed Staff du Plooy to treat us to 2 beers whilst still on basic training (which as far as I understood at the time was unheard of). One day unexpectedly the Staff marched us into the courtyard of the De Brug mess hall (which confused the hell out of us), closed the gate behind us & said in Afrikaans "complemints of the Captain, sip slowly & don't make a ****ing sound, ladies". I think I can speak for the rest of the guys & say that was the biggest smile on our faces up until that point of our lives. 😁

Get Lost with the Racism bullshit , you can go to India , China , Muslim , Black Country's today, and all those Non White Country's put their race and culture first , but as soon as Whites want to protect their Race , Culture , Country's then we called Racist get fucked. Tell me why you think it's a 100% OK for Non Whites to protect their race , culture , religion , and country, but Whites are not allowed to. What do you think makes you so special?, Funny how none of those Non White Country's are called Racist or Supremist , None of those Non White Country's elevate Whites above their Non White Race groups , but All White Country's must change so those very same Non Whites can invade and take over White Country's, and if the Whites don't accept it , they called Racist. How about we Flood all Non White Country's with different Non White groups they don't get along with or want in their Country's. Very fuckin easy to sit there making claims about Racism and accusing Whites of it , but take a hard look at the Non white race groups before you dare call Whites the Racist , Whites don't have a Homogeneous White Country's anymore , but the 4 major Non White Race groups do , but I bet you don't call those Non Whites Racist. Some advice catch a wake-up. When you can give me a valid reason Non Whites can keep their country's 100% their Non white race groups, they don't have FORCED brainwashing of their kids to hate everything about their race , their kids are not doctored and told they must mix with other Race groups , Every Fuckin thing you accuse the Whites of been the Racist , the Non Whites get to do it all without been called any names. So fuck off with your Racist bullshit. The Black Race was the first to kill innocent Whites in South Africa , they drew first blood and showed the Whites we could not trust them , and that piece of shit Mandela who was a fuckin Terrorist , gets treated like a Saint, but he was bombing churches , night clubs , building and killing innocent Whites , but I bet you don't think that is Racist hey. You should educate yourself on the real history of South Africa and not the lies that sound good to your ears. The only Racist are Non Whites, Whites have Sacrificed their Country's, Race , Cultures, Religeon All for the benefit of Non Whites. Tell me, what have the Non Whites sacrificed for the white race ?

We had the most perfect beds, with rectangular corners you could shave on, and we slept under them. We had the shiniest piss cribs, brassoed till you could see your own reflection, but we never pissed in them. Instead we'd queue to pee in the communal ablution block. We'd run and hurry up everywhere, so that we could wait for hours for the rank to decide what to do with us. Those were the good days and I made the best friends ever there.

I taught in Natal in the 1980s when boys had to do their time usually straight from school (conscription) in the SADF. Some of our boys were lost in the border conflicts when we had terrorists, Cubans, and Russians trying to invade SA and lob morters into SA. These boys soon become 'real' soldiers and the terrorists were soon on the run back into Angola which SA could have taken had not international pressure been put onto SA by such as Kissinger et al. My husband also did his time and 10 years camps after. Sad what has happened to SA since - a real mess, and glad I am out of it, but miss the place and the sunshine!
